Listen......I don't know HOOOOOW anybody on the set was able to stay in character when Sweet Tooth (Tommy Davidson) took his shirt off and did that Bruce Lee/Micheal Jackson Bullshit but for real...... That's shit was off the charts funny!
The song is called Fencewalk by Mandrill. Its funny cause I was just a kid watching this show and always liked this song that Sweet Tooth came out to. Wasnt till 15 years later when I started really getting into old school music that I stumbled across Mandrill and actually delved into their catalog that Fencewalk jogged that memory of Tommy Davidson as Sweet Tooth
This is the high point of male black comedy actors. Without placing sociological and political jargon it's waa an absolutely just an amazing time. I have nothing to compare to it And you could list the actors born from 1950 to 1970 and be completely amazed at the amount of talent.
Is this where Martin Lawrence gets the character "Dragon Fly Jones?" LOL, I was so little when both came out. But now because of Martin's continuous re-runs and randomly looking for In Living Color, it somehow makes sense.
I wanna say Dragonfly came out before. Martin introduced that character during the 1st season of Martin (1992). Believe this episode of In Living Color was from the 4th or 5th season, which wouldve made this like 93-94...
This is a late reply but I think both Tommy and Martin were doing a parody of the 'cats' from the early 70s. Black America was into Funk, Disco, Soul and everyone was talking 'Jive', and Kung Fu hit the American scene in a big way. Soon there was a sub genre of low budget movies with a combination of jive talkin' and kung fu and at the time it was 'no thang' to 'holla at a foxy mama' .. you dig? 😎
HAHA! Get real... I can dig it You can dig it... this is not a dance concert...you need to let Red do her thang...you something else Red. funniest shit ever!!!!
Please Let's put some Respect on this womens Name. But Wow! Didn't know Much about her. shes brought so much laughter to me as a child. I feel I'm Thankful to been able to See How creative she was. Love her Wish we could see her in Some Comedy Movies...
