This was sad to me. Having Moxley, the world chanpion of a whole different promotion, have a promo that dragged on way too long before the world chanpion of your own company even makes an appearance is baffling
AEW Management paying homage to Kofi Kingston by immediately making their new first ever African American champion look like crap right away, by putting him in the second segment in a random, pointless title eliminator match against an ROH undercard guy and having the match be super competitive.
@@atlantahawksfan8443 I just want AEW to be good, and I want Swerve to not just have a good chase storyline but to actually have a good title reign as well.
That 'other guy' is also a ROH champion, you expected a squash match or what? Keeping it competitive helps the other not lose credibility , they had a competitive match and Swerve won idk what is so hard to understand in this , The match placing was indeed strange but we know what the main event was so they likely didn't want to overshadow this match with the main event
That intro was mid af! I really dont get this company...they have all this money, but everything looks and sounds like some shit me and my friends setup in the backyard
Is NaNa still managing those jobbers? If so, they need to stop that. It's a bad look having a top guy's manager managing bums. That's like Paul Heyman managing Brock Lesnar and James Ellsworth.
@@alannurse7453 idk but why’s that matter? Last time I checked Swerve isn’t a jobber? Trick is not a jobber? R Truth ain’t a jobber? Damien Prist isn’t a jobber either?
@Yifeng-rn4ov absolutely. Out of respect to his father. Look how fast that was dropped. Tell me the last time Heyman manged someone on Axel's level again.
You know you won’t be champion for long. The Chinese guy has a belt. The white guy needs a belt now everybody has a belt you are about to lose yours to the white guy. I can’t think of his name that’s how big of a star he really is the one who tried to diss triple H he can’t hold triple H jockstrap
This comment is hilariously absurd. AEW's title politics have never been about race. I think almost every title in AEW history (of which there are many) has had countless non-white champions. A racist organization doesn't have a Black/Native American/Trans woman as a champion. I think the first champion period for the Tag and TBS titles were both black, and the latter reigned for over a year undefeated. Also....if by "Chinese guy" you mean Okada....he's Japanese...At least get your facts even somewhat straight... It's really not hard. AEW can be accused of many things. Being racist straight up isn't one of them.
Swerve turned on him after like 2 weeks due to some travel issue for Wembly It was kinda dumb and short sighted, AR was a much better fit with Swerve than Brian Cage and those Umaga knock off guys
This guy isn't world heavyweight champ material. He's a jobber at worst, and mid level intercontinental champion at his max. It makes aew look even more 2nd rate.
