@manueliiimarquez5477 The problem with hardcore IWC fans is that it takes WAY more than just putting on good matches to be an iconic wrestler. A wrestler can do their little flips and dives and Canadian Destroyers and spotfests, but if they have no charisma, no character, no presentation, can't tell a story, then nope, lowcarder at best.
@@shadowof7662A lot of AEW guys have charisma, story telling, and ring work but AEW doesn't use them the right way so they just end up looking like generic indy wrestlers to fans.
@Triple-Four Yeah that's the case too, I wouldn't say a lot of them though, but a good example is Starks. He's not a jacked guy, but he has charisma and good mic ability, yet despite winning the tag titles, he hasn't had much TV time. Hobbs too. Intimidating appearance, decent mic ability, great powerhouse wrestler with crazy potential, yet used as a big dumb bodyguard for Callis and his family. Remember the Book of Hobbs? Yeah, barely. I would be more interested in this stable if they actually started taking titles and causing chaos. Don't forget about Wardlow. He was hella over when he defeated MJF, but when he became TNT champion, TK and creative just dragged him through the dirt and destroyed his momentum as brutally as possible cause he wasn't some no-charisma, all workrate skinny-ass twerp. Then there's Wheeler Useless, Danny G, and Stick Wayne. I get they're young and have a lot to learn, but I swear they're showcased in stories and matches way more than the wrestlers I listed above, despite being worse in every category.
Finally Nana is getting the recognition he has so long deserved! idk how many people know how long he's been around for, like ffs he's a Ring of Honor original (he joined in 2002, however The Embassy formed in 2004), he was there around the same time when all these young up-and-comers were there such as CM Punk, Samoa Joe, Bryan Danielson, Chris Hero, AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels. i could go on!
Yeah Nana came out a couple of weeks ago on Dynamite with his crutches… and the pop he got was crazy. I was thinking: Wow Swerve and Nana are really over now👍🏿
I remember when he first popped up on AEW, I was like “jeeez this guy hasn’t even crossed my mind since at least 2010” I’m very happy for his recent success too.
I recently got into AEW and was at wrestledream Seattle live. Didn't know swerve but he got a huge pop and his match was awesome. Shawn Kemp loved it there live to.
@@Timmy2Dope It’s sad and wild that Swerve even as a wrestler is signed to AEW which is under Warner Bros which can’t allow their talent, rappers or actors to talk about anyone signed to another music label. I hope TK can make sure they don’t bully him for things like that.
I love swerve entrance music and song...I knew when first hurried it was going to shake up the crowds world wide.....Now since prince nana put the dance to it which I love it has mad it SKY ROCKETED with the masses....Keep it gowning Swerve ,Prince Nana and the whole EMBASSY.....I LOVE IT:)
Glad people are finally seeing swerve for what he is the man’s been good and now tiny giving him the spotlight I didn’t know his theme was made with help from one of Kanyes and Travis scotts writer ✍️ that’s lit
Tacoma in the house, my pops (RIP)went to Bellarmine back in the day when you had beef they gave you boxing gloves and made you settle it in the ring. They called it "The Smoker"... not a safe space. He also played little league all-stars with Ron "The Penguin" Cey, Dodgers HOFer. Shoutout to other T-Town legends like Isaiah Thomas, Michael Dickerson, Jaden Mcdaniels and soon enough Zoom Diallo!
Yeah it was new but that didn't mean swerve couldn't feel it i mean damn when he first used the song i was hooked on it and when prince nana started doing the dance i said this oh yeah is gold 😂💯 .
It's crazy that the whole faction started as a heel, but with Prince Nana, they became fan favorite, especially Swerve. Please, don't blew this one up TK. Swerve is 💰💵
Tony Kahn you gotta get this man the AEW title he work very hard he hasn’t been in the business very long but he can make a run two years easy bring people from Japan within the company he could go against small and big people. The entrance is cool, but let’s look at the talent. They got the things he does in the rain, I don’t want to say this, but to me the next run the next Booker t and swirls🗣️🗣️🗣️🏆 I am serious about this. I mean to be in the top three as African-American whoever whole world titles it’s a big accomplishment I’m making this about race I’m making this about the guys talent inside the room Tony come you dropping the ball this guy got it factor. I will go as far as saying, give him the time the years he can easily be around Orton for you can come in three months year from from last preview and give you company a boost. He got the talent prove me wrong.
Swerve is just one of those guys that whatever “cool” is, the cool you have to be born with, he’s got. I think unfortunately for him, he’s one of those guys that’s just always going to be over, so there’ll never be a drive for him to get the World Title, because he’s so over with out it like he doesn’t need the title (to be over). I’d love to see it, though.
Swerve carries himself like a star and Nana adds to that aura by contrasting his seriousness. It's a great combination. I hope with Osprey and Okada coming Swerve doesn't take a back seat.
I'm so happy he's not dancing. He has other people dancing for him unfortunately Any dark pigmentation that dances for some reason never gets to be like champion or anything and always push them to dance. Dancing out is crew suicide. It's good that he's on the serious note like he's on top. Let everyone else dance. It's a good thing he swerved that one.
This man actually makes me check out AEW I’m not even gonna lie he got aura asf and it’s not just because of his nana but he’s always an amazing wrestler. He’s also amazing on the mic too. I hate to be this person, but it’s what Trick Williams is missing. He’s got Booker hyping him up but on the mic and in the ring I just don’t feel it.
He hardly ever says a word...? What does he do that makes him great? First of all he's supposed to be a heel manager, and the only thing he does that gets a reaction at all is dance ..? What am I missing here? Look at the great managers. Heenan, Hart, Heyman, whoever. They brought a lot more to the table than Prince Nana. They were actually over. People would pay to see them get their comeuppance. Nana has to be in his 40's, maybe pushing 50. By the time those greats were his age look at everything they had accomplished. 20 years ago Nana cutting pretty forgettable promos in ROH he was contributing more as a manager than he has in AEW... He's just there.
@@PaulESafely That's why AEW will continue to decrease in viewership and ticket sales. Someone does a dance and suddenly the whole fan base is like omg that guy is so over. He's not. And on top of that Swerves character doesn't make any sense.
He May Well Be Annoying to AF, but When the Prince Dances, Death walks into AEW!!! Go GET THAT DRIVE!!! #CVVClips #SwerveGotThatDrive!!! #RespectThatAnnoyer!!! #GOGETTHATDRIVE!!! #DeathWalkingIn!!!
Everyone is not impressed by his entrance anyone can have someone dancing while they walk to the ring the fuck... Aew fans are impressed by everything in aew I guess
You aren't but it's also professional wrestling. It's always been dumb the question is though does it get the people engaged. Stone Cold yelling "What!" Was dumb and it will outlast him because of the crowd engagement.
He is to me and a lot other people so that's just your opinion my guy. He deserves a push dude has been grinding and working hard his whole career to get to this level.
