I don't have every toon in cantina Battles, but I have all of the important ones (besides Geonosians). I've been farming crit damage mods out of the challenge for almost a month and it's the best thing I did for H Sith damage. I can now do over 4 million in p1 with jtr team easily. Check mix 2.7. NS in p4 at least 5 million. I am very happy with my results from farming.
A good mention is for folks to use the mods feature at swgoh.gg, or crouchingrancor. I don't believe in mod swapping either, but when it comes time to deck out a new arena team or some spring cleaning with a major mod shuffle do yourself a favor and be sure to register at swgoh.gg and use the mods feature. Truth!

Cantina 6A. Reinforcement abilities. That's the farm right now. They make you hate spending energy like the vets...but yeah. There is no secret to the game unless you are P2W (aka spend lots of money). If you don't P2W...just prepare for pain. The pain is in the farm...the satisfaction is in the community. Fight together.
I also noticed for my NS team, I use a tenacity cross on Talia lol. I decided to drop her speed, and up tenacity, mainly so she can go *AFTER* the Sith teams drop their load on debuffs, and then I can cleanse. Before, she'd be active too early, before Emperor Palpatine stuns, and get stun locked & killed. So I at least found 1 use for it :)
Listening to @cubsfanhan helped me go from 70ish in arena and not even messing with Palp teams to taking them on and getting as high as 3! Thrawn needs speed.
My biggest disappointment about mods is that only speed REALLY becomes important. I often wonder if they increased the numbers of the other stats significantly if it would offset this? ( I have a feeling it might, but at the cost of making matches last quite a bit longer, which would be a negative benefit for sure, lol )
Tenacity cross is super usefull for GKenobi, he should be able to dispel the debuffs from all allies, and also to apply lead the charge special, so he should be quick and non debuffed (stunned, ability blocked, dazed etc.) , the most optimized mods for him are speed set and tenacity set plus tenacity cross.

I will just mention it is on average to use SHIP CURRENCY over normal currency to purchase mods in the mod store, because you cannot use ship currency to level up those mods. Also focus on the Arrow, Triangle, and Cross sets as they are rarer than the other three.
I've literally had that happen the last 10 mods I've purchased. I think they tinkered with the chances for the speed secondary going up on mod store mods.
Been playing from the start and have had zero luck to farm or buy mods. So patience is key, for me. Farming seems to have the worst drop rate for anything good. Example 200 energy and maybe one mod with a secondary speed of a 3, is ,the best I can get. And mod shopping has been pretty poor giving me a lot of 4 dot mods and no secondary speed, :(
Right there with you man. Been searching pretty aggressively for a good mod to add to my arena team for months now. Haven't been able to add a single mod.
Every time there's a speed secondary it seems to fall on a tenacity mod or defense primary and anytime a crit triangle drop it has defensive secondaries or if a prot cross drops it has crit secondaries....
The hardest mod I have acquiring is the triangle one. For any category and being a 5 dot level. Yes I can go buy them. But they cost a minimum if 500k and they go up as high close to 4mil!!!
Nice video cubs, but what about health mods? Can you just go full health mod set with good primaries and good secondaries? (Especially with good speed)
Darth Sion is one of my fastest characters at 233. He's definitely a Tank that I think needs a whole lot of speed, due to Held By Hatred. BB8 at 246, Rex at 241 and R2 at 237 are the only ones faster for me.
I agree with your mod choices to put on your best toons but what do you recommend when you end up with a tenacity cross with a speed secondary of 18 and health circle with 16 and 18 speed I actually end up with a lot of the not so great primary stats but high speed secondary, some are my highest actually.
A long tome ago I used a lot of tenacity on some chars like oldschool yoda in the (h)aat raid. Dodging those debuffs was cool and helps his leader. I know it‘s barely used but even in the sith-raid tenacity can be nice. But you are right, with all these unresistable debuffs in the meta it‘s not really worth it. A tenacity cross on a tenacity set is always good to have. With at least some speed of course:) Thanks for the video! Got some out of it! Cheers
i like tenacity crosses on certain toons, specifically the ones i don't want to be debuffed. for example, princess leia and hermit yoda, i do not want to see ability block on those two, but maybe that's just me
Question for you CubsFanHan what do you do with your white mods that you cannot see the secondary stats on are they sold or do you upgrade them a bit to see what category their secondaries are? Also great video very helpful.
Sithmaster 1984 those are pretty worthless tbh. I just sell those to get rid of them. Equipping mods like that with no upgrades get you almost no GP so no logic in doing that either. You’ll waste way too many credits looking for the right secondary stats. Only upgrade mods when you know what you’re upgrading

There is plenty of use for tenacity cross. especially with p1 DN. I swapped from Offense/potency to tenacity on my RJT for p1. Now I can score close to 6m in heroic so much easier. Also for Daka in p4 so she wont get defense down. For arena I found Thrawn to be usefull with tenacity
My biggest pita with mods is that I've put mods on most of my top toons but after 2 years it's a pain to revisit say... Vader and figure out if maybe I have a better mod for him somewhere on another toon....
I just finally got tired of figuring out this stuff, put together a spreadsheet with each character at 50+ and what mods & speed they had on them. Then I scour through and ranked the top 5 mods with speed secondaries I had, and noted which character they were on. Now, if I need to do a mod shakeup, I just go in & edit it so I can keep track. I still have no idea how to tell if when I level up a mod, if the speed secondary will level up or just stay stagnant. Seems random as far as I can tell :/
Two things I would like to add here. First, it is important to note that any original yellow mod without a speed secondary is VERY good for pilots. Since the stats on mods for pilots doesn't matter you can still use these and upgrade them for max power bonus in ship arena. These are good for characters you do not really use in other areas of the game (Geonosians, Ackbar, etc). Secondly, I did a video a couple months back when we are now able to buy mods. Using that store to exclusively buy mods will help a lot in the short term, but not always the best if planning for the long term. Your credits are more valuable than it seems, buying and gambling on 5 to 8 mods may not be worth getting a low level faction team to 85 for Territory Wars and other content. Example I 85's my Nightsisters and now have a decent team for TW and for the occasional Nightsister event that comes up. To sum up, I believe it is still important to farm mods with cantina energy 3 or 4 days out of the week.
Master Jedi Skywalker Actually, a mod that is grey adds the same GP as a gold mod, so as long as the mod is lv 15 it does the job of adding the same stats for ships
I don't know if I've ever gotten a crit damage triangle with a secondary speed of more than like 4. I have that one on my Vader so his Culling Blade does a ton of damage when it crits, but I feel like it's slowing him down too much since he needs to be the fastest one on the nightmare team.
I I've messed around with how I level my mods and found that leveling the slow way gave me better results than going right to level 12 I don't think there is any logic to it though lol it just happened to proc on speed more often than not in that situation
I'm not particularly a fan of Tenacity crosses but I have one on my Nihilus for speed and it seems like he resists the other Nihilus's Drain Force more times than not
Joey Oliver No no no! Yes, if his nihi isn't debuffed, he won't be drained 50% of the time. But tenacity doesn't affect it. Its just that if the 50% chance triggers, and his character doesn't evade that matters. Deathtroops grenade works the same way ;)
