Hi, in this engine the timing pulleys are "fixed", the so-called wedge, so set them on the marks that are on the wheels. The timing chain has links in other colors. please let me know if I understand the question correctly?

I mean 1. should TDC been set up before the timing chain? 2. or, when fully setting the engine chain timing and start turning it to get the right TDC, this moment, we have to have both TDC and timing on the right spot? Cause when I was watching your video, I saw you put a stick in it and turned the shaft to get the highest point (TDC right?). I wasn't too sure the timing marks were on spot at the same time or not when TDC was done. Again thank you for your replying!! Kind regards

@@wilsonwei9604 1. set the piston a little before tdc so that there is no collision when setting the shafts. we set the shafts so that the characters are \ / to the plane of the head as in the video. then we put the shaft in tdc and the chain can be set up. 2. I did not understand the question. after setting the timing gear on the markers, point 1, tighten it with the tensioner, then make a few turns and set the tdc with a stick to check if the original position camshaft of the is exactly in place as in point 1.

there is no factory thread in the engine block at this point. but a big plus for attention
