slowed down the section of setup to see it better and that was hilarious to hear him in a sluggish voice saying "how rapid the setup is" while at 25% speed LOL. Great Net!! Highly recommend and it is the fastest one in terms of setup and breakdown time and also the best made after seeing 4 different kinds of nets that pale in comparison to SwiftNet

I own 2 Swiftnets and the only issue I have from frequent use is that both of the plastic post caps have cracked on 1 net about 2 weeks apart. The good news, is that it was under warranty and CRTC sent out replacement parts the following week! My other complaint is that you have to drill holes into your post to install the new post caps. So it isn't as easy as it would seem.

Awesome! I will get one once it's out on the website! Next can you please re-engineer the portable pickleball court temporary lines so we may play anywhere! The hard plastic temp lines are slippery and do not have full coverage. Thanks, pickleball fanatic!

The new SwiftNet will be available later tonight on www.pickleballcentral.com, with a special introductory price of $50 off MSRP! We will post the link here - check back in an hour. And thank you for your input about the temporary lines; we will share with manufacturing and see if improvements can be made.

How do you get the triangle in the middle to stay down. It tends to rise up off the ground and both cords are pulled all the way tight

You talk about how great the warranty is but don't state the term. Only that it is better than others. I found out it is one year. While it may be better than others, it doesn't impart a lot of confidence in the product. Make it 5 years and you will have a winner!

How is the durability on these? I teach elementary PE, and undoubtedly students will fall into a net like this. Will the net be able to absorb this without breaking?

Chord, sorry for the delay in response. Before the pandemic, we operated an indoor pickleball facility with 4 courts, and we used a variety of portable nets there as a way of testing and photographing the nets. The Swiftnets were by far the most durable net systems we used. Compared to a steel net (which uses hollow thin steel posts for all its components, the carbon fiber components flex without getting permanently bent. The feet and legs have been tested extensively and are the most durable we've ever seen on a portable net. They have the industry's best warranty. The parts that wear (like the net fabric & cords) are all easily field replaceable. Super durable!

@@PickleballCentral Nice, thanks for that feedback! Are they quick to set up?

@@ChordPrism Super fast. Around 120 seconds once you've done it a few times. The record in our office is 95 seconds .

could you use this for a tennis net? would be the same right?
@PickleballCentral

The net is designed to match exact USAPA Guidelines of 36" tall at the side lines and 34" at the center (a result of a true catenary design). The Swiftnet is 22' wide (designed for a Pickleball court). Tennis nets are 36" tall at the center, and the posts are 42" tall.

I just received my swift net and put it up today. It looks great. I am wondering about the 2 bags labelled "RISER FEET". Is it necessary? just a replacement part? I'm not sure. I just left it in the bag.

Glen --- that's the obvious answer, but there is technically no rule support for that at this current time. Now, the USAPA should send out an "addendum" immediately regarding these new state-of-the-art nets about it being a let even though it's not "horizontal." Just being the devil's advocate here....

Great point Scott

If u have a net like this… just play tennis lmao

If it his the black bar, is it a let? Technically, it's not a horizontal bar. :-)

trouble maker!
@petersonglen
@petersonglen 6 лет назад
Great question Scott. Our conclusion is that any ball that hits the boom/bar on the opposite side of the net is a let. If it strikes the boom on the hitter's side and pops over, it is a fault. Same as current portable nets.
@heritagekrd
@heritagekrd 6 лет назад
Can you leave the net out in the rain? Current portable nets leak rusty water and damage the courts angering the tennis players.

Everything is perfect but the price. Make it in China so we can get if for half the price!!
@PickleballCentral
@PickleballCentral 5 лет назад
We understand the pricing impact on the consumer acceptance, but would also share that the product is a great value when you consider the length of time it lasts. It has a much longer warranty than other portable nets. We use them at our facility (which has players using the courts 12 hours/day) and they have held up better than any metal imported net so far. The cost is driven because of the labor to convert the waste carbon fiber material from the aerospace industry into usable product and keep it out of the land fills. These net systems are manufactured in Washington State from these recycled materials, and give benefits to the local community. Watch for it being on sale & see if you can pick one up at a good price!
