So cool to watch when someone thinks outside of the box and brings an idea to completion, great job on that bait! And what a great way to raise awareness for Autism!
Damn brother! You have got an awesome creative mind ALure for Autism great idea those colors really pop out at cha Ifn I’m lucky enough to win this one of a kind masterpiece it’s goin on my wall
Eventually, I really do see more of us bait makers coming together to contribute and promote good causes. The truly traditional and recognizable good causes, not the artificially labeled corporate ones. Almost forgot to mention, great idea! And I really thinks it looks better with the pieces separated. As long as they laminated well to the body it should be fine. P.S. I do have someone in my family with autism, but he and his sister already have college degrees as teenagers. So it's easy for me to forget about it sometimes.
Thanks for the kind words... I ended up clear dipping it with just a scoop of diamond pearl whit in the clear plastic... turned out great! Thanks so much for watching!
Hey there! On the surface, the two have very little to do with each other. However, there is a community of artisans that specialize in airbrushing swimbaits. Each year this community holds an auction in which they design baits with Autism Awareness artwork. These swimbaits are donated to the cause and sold at auction. All the money generated by these sales is then given to foundations, schools and families for Autism. Although I do not airbrush hard swimbaits (yet), I had seen a picture of one contestant's submission. I was then inspired to make one in the soft plastic genre, as I talk about in the video. However, I was too late to be entered into this contest. So I gave this bait away to a randomly picked comment of someone who wanted it. I do plan to participate in this fundraiser next year though. In addition to this community of artisans, many other fishing related organizations hold auctions to raise both money and awareness to this cause including, Bassmaster, B.A.S.S, as well as many individual professional anglers.
