💜💜💜 Spinals are some of the scariest ones to watch. And the fact that he got pulled out of the water by other swimmers, and was sitting up like that when the guys got to him. That could have ended so much worse. 😞💜💜💜💜
@@nycdweller I am pretty sure the commenter is taking about Terry McDermott, who was a lifeguard on this show. He sadly passed away in 2022 due to a battle with prostate cancer.
@nycdweller Terry was one of the senior lifeguards..he was the one talking about how much Taco had improved and was organising the lifeguard challenge with head lifeguard Hoppo and made the comments about Taco being sick at the end of the challenge..he died in 2022 from prostate cancer..l think he was 52..no age to die..he fought it bravely but it got him in the end..😢. He is reunited with his baby son, who died during childbirth.. You will see in one of the episodes he saved a young girl from drowning and he said that he would understand how her mom would have felt to lose her and then told us about losing his son...Rest in Peace Terry..a very special man..🇬🇧💕✝️🙏👍🏄♀️🏄♂️🇦🇺
People think these videos are dramatised. The rips and near drownings are not at all an overreaction and tourists are usually the first to find that out.
The fact that you made it to the final round even as a trainee shows that you have huge amount of potential you don't have to win it you already proved that you are a true lifeguard the fact that you're out there working every day that you are needed is proof you are a lifeguard a really good at his job lifeguard but the fact that you made it to the final round when no training has made it that far during the competition before has already broke and set the record for all future trainees to try and beat
@@BondiRescueI just went through the comments to find out the Terry ( H ) passed in 2022 from cancer 🥺😩 and now I'm crying. My deepest condolences to his family on and off the bondi, may he rest in eternal peace 🕊 😢💔
They should get their UTV's outfitted with Emergency sirens and lights so they can get through the beach faster instead of honking the useless horn that is built into the steering wheel.
I really enjoy watching your videos! ❤ It makes good mood to watch it and you really can learn how to behave in some difficult situations. Thanks a lot! You are great!:)
I dont understand some people. I am a very good swimmer and literally max go knee deep into the water if I see conditions like these. Have they no survival instincts? 😅
@@erinintyanishabrinaramadhi1928 do you mean “do they bully each other?” I’ve never seen it on the show. They play pranks and maybe playfully laugh at each other but no bullying. However that’s just what we see on the show. There might be some behind the scenes
Have recently returned from a trip to Boa Vista, Cape Verde. From the word 'GO', it is recommended that you, never venture into the Water, due to the strong tides, under Currents, and lack of assistance, which would be unavailable, if ever encountering trouble, on the Beach. Considering myself as a fairly strong, but, confident Swimmer, myself and my Partner decided to take our chances, on two separate occasions. Yes, it was exciting, thrilling and memorable, however, the Swell could catch you, and leave you out of your depth, within seconds. One moment, you could be standing on a shallow Sand Bank, and the next, completely out of your depth. To all of those who love Water, in whatever shape or form, pay it, due, respect, never disregard Health & Safety precautions, regarding the latter, and take care. Respect to all those who continue to take care of the mindless/oblivious misadventures, yet, at the same time, the respectful, Sea, Ocean, Rivet, Lake loving, water babys.
