A telecine conversion of my dad's Standard 8mm film from 1976 of my mum and I swimming in our pool. We were living at Backwoods, a property in Wivelsfield Green with over 8 acres of woodland which I used to love exploring. 1976 was an incredibly hot summer - water was rationed, the grass died, the ground cracked, a plague of ladybirds arrived from France, and I was nine years old. It's amazing how much like my sons I look - body & movements of Jake, with Ben's head & skin colour. The two puppies were border collies Angela (blue merle) and Jasper (black & tan).
