太乙游龙功 Swimming Dragon Tai Yi As performed by Master Guifang Liu of the Tai Chi Association in Hunan province Location: Alfred University October 26, 2011 Video recorded and edited by Devin Henry
I would like to compliment Mrs Liu on this excellent performance. It is calm and inspiring! Thank you Mrs Liu and may you receive all the benefits from your dedication.
Hello! The short answer is yes, the long answer is it kinds of depends on where you live. There's a group of us in Western NY, you can see us performing here: (can't post links, search "Alfred tai chi" and click the first video, that's us) and you're welcome to join us if you're in the area. In San Francisco there is a teacher as well, qidragon(dot)com , and I believe she takes students regularly. It's not a common form though, so finding other places that teach it could be difficult.
You should check out our other channel then. ru-vid.com I had put this video up here because, at the time, we had not established a RU-vid channel for our group, but now we've got a whole bunch of different forms and exercise demonstrations up.
Yes, I mislabeled it. In our group we've just been using the term Tai Chi as a blanket to refer to everything we're doing, so I just went on instinct. I corrected the title within RU-vid, but I may or may not do so in the title of the video as it would require going back in and re-uploading it. Hurray for annotations.
according to my humble experience - only since 1995 - it is more significant HOW do you perform the routine than WHAT concrete routine are you practicing
