Swimming with whale sharks in Isla Mujeres, Mexico : is it a good idea? 

For more than a decade now, the whale shark hotspot in the north of the Yucatan Peninsula has become the place to go for many divers and tourists alike dreaming of an encounter with the largest fish of the ocean. While the spot offer almost guaranteed encounter in the season (June-September), are we really doing them a favour by wanting to say hi?
