I totally agree with you and all the other footage from this era that I retrieve from old tapes is also special. I think it's because it that's period when amateur and semi pro video machines and cameras were starting to be used by people other than TV companies. Most of the footage on these sort of tapes contain probably the only copy and so each tape played is a treasure trove :-)

The quality is surprisingly good.
