Technically the Jailbrid versa is not a armlock putter but I just armlock it anyway haha. A lot of the long grip counterbalance putters (while not ideal) can be used as armlock putters. The biggest con is that the loft isnt that high and armlock technique delofts the putter face.
On Hole #16, were you in the OB or in play? If OB then why not opt to drop on the fairway +2 strokes? Would saved you 2 strokes assuming you would have 2 putt if on the green. I counted a quad if it was truly in play. 1. Driver, 2. Hook left, 3. Left hand out of the weeds, 4-5. Lost ball, 6. Back on the fairway, 7. Pitch on, 8-9. 2 putt
with new technologies coming out every year, you would be stupid not to buy new clubs every year. I upgrade every single year and I made sure I get fitted. It's stupid to buy clubs without getting fitted!
I'm your fan in South Bay. Since you changed your driver, did you also consider changing your one-length iron clubs to the Avoda one-length iron clubs that Bryson used? Lol.
I looked at their offerings and the Avoda irons look more like a players club and I really have no business playing them. Maybe I'll go try them out one day but it's not in the plans. Tempting though!
There was a lot of factors going for it in comparison to my previous driver but I would say yeah for me this is a keeper. To be transparent my g425 max has the same shaft but it's an inch shorter so maybe that is why I saw much better gains distance wise. However against other top of the line drivers with the same shaft not sure if the KRANK would perform any better it's hard to say.
