This bucket is amazing well worth the money. I have plowed snow, moved mulch, leveled out dirt, moved stone and ever scrapped and area of rock and stone out using the teeth attachment sold separately. I had a big job removing lots of stone that was spread out over 20 years ago. I was going to rent a commercial skid steer for $500 bucks or more. I seen this and figured for a few more bucks I'll have something that might work. It did a great job, I did buy the separate teeth attachment and had to angle the universal mount so the teeth would dig in.
Overall I'm very happy with this purchase.

I'm surprised you don't dump more often instead of plowing so much. How does this work on loose dirt and gravel?

The wet snow tends to stick to the bucket so you don’t get to dump a lot of snow, I now have the plow for snow. The bucket comes with flat bar attachment and you can buy the teeth attachment that bolts on. I still use it all the time. Works out great for dirt and gravel and surprisingly you can dig with it, I just leveled out a large area for trampoline. It works out better if you have dirt in the bucket for weight to dig down in.

great video. how come you don't empty the bucket after each pass. Seems like your hauling the same snow back and forth. Does it take too long, or does it get sticky or what. Would love to pick your brain on that.

It’s hard to dump when the snow is sticky it was easier to push. To dump a load when it’s raised you have to pull the rope. The heavy the load the harder it is to dump. For heavy loads it’s easier to drop the load on the ground, pull the rope to unlatch the bucket and raise it up. This works great for mulch, stone and dirt. Wet snow was the heavy thing I’ve lifted and the synthetic ropes on the winch will break after time. The bucket does the job with the snow, not as good as a blade. I still use it all the time around the house.

Swisher told me I needed universal mount #201021 for my AC 650 TRV and the universal mount extension #20102 because my AC 650 TRV is 95” +. So you said the extension bends, what part#s did you use and if you didn’t use the extension, how did you modify it? Where did you buy everything? So far direct from Swisher is cheapest I’ve found but that’s not saying much.

My extension bent with a load of wet snow. I picked up a stick of 2” square tubing, 1/4” thick from the local metal shop. I cut the front T off the old Swisher mount that the bar slides thru and bolted the suspension brackets to that, this held up for 2 years. My latest try at it, I cut the triangle end off the 2” square tube that eventual broke and welded a small stick of 2” tube on the end of a 18” hitch extension and welded a ridged pipe below it for the rod to go thru to hold the plow or bucket. I can just slide the hitch on the front and connect it with a hitch pin. This allows me to get different angles. I have used the bucket with teeth to actually dig some.
