Good advice on the nuts, washers and bolts. I just brought mine home today. I think I will use a blue threadlocker during assembly and check factory bolts as well. Nice video!
Thanks for the Video, I can say these are great , but he's right the bolts do come loose. I took the time to take them all off and used red lock tight on them and haven't had 1 come loose since
I have 6 acers of about the same and have been looking into this system versus a 4 wheel drive tractor and bush hog and I think this is the winner and cost affordable
You can always use a large enough bolt that u could drill a hole perpendicular to the bolt and slip a cotter pin in the hole right above the wing nut so it can't vibrate completely loose.
I wish I had DR rough-cut mower. Instead, a couple months ago I purchased a Swisher brush mower which is 448 pounds and tires on the unit unable to carry the weight effectively. First time mowing and had a flat. Following day, noticed the other tire was half deflated. Also, drinks gasoline fast. Furthermore, raising and lowering and leveling machine complicated. One last thing, due to only two flimsy, small wheels to support mower; I found that scalping ground with mower blades happens on rough ground. My previous brush mower with four wheels mowed the same area and never ever scalped the ground.
