he (pickles s) is a very stressful person; looking at this comment by my emails again i really wonder if he admires "calmness" so much because he totally freaks out and doesnt even get the joke. mentioning calmess over and over again and immediately losing temper. i thought it would cheer him up but his reaction is already "pathological" :-O
I love watching all these behind the scenes, moment by moment, and everything associated with it. Makes me feel like I’m the pilot or observer. Love it!!!!
One of the best approach and landing clips watched in months. Sharp, clear and nicely edited. Very impressed. Will subscribe. Thanks for saharing and impressed with pilots being relaxed in front of cameras. 5 stars from me ;-)
I can't believe. When i saw this captain again here but now on A340. Best memories, when i remmember a few years back watching him flying on Swiss MD11 bound to South America.
Landing a plane is like a ballet: a pas de dux for captain and co plot and it was perfectly performed. Thank you for allowing me to share this landing and sharing their appreciation of the Swiss landscape
The most fantastic and pleasant side of being Pilot is to see the ground firstly above passing among the clouds. Thank You very much for sharing this qualified video. I mean You both broadcast inside and outside of the plane's flight. That was Nice.
Best vids i've ever seen. This one and its precursor, the wet-weather take-off from Shanghai! Beautiful to watch these 2 gentlemen execute the take-off and landing with supreme proficiency in flying and in interacting with each other and the cams. My regards and sincere well wishes to both gentlemen. Cheers!
This pilot is so cool, and professional if I was rich I'll have him as my pilot. Nice video view from different angles made it even more enjoyable. Well done guys
Schweizerdeutsch lang nicht mehr gehoert. Von diese zwei ist es irgendwie angenehm anzuhoeren. It reminds me of the maritimers in Canada....not always understandable but fun to listen to.
Hats of to all the airline pilots in the world the job they do all type of weather everyday is no picnic your life is in their hand they all true professionals in every sense they deserve no less than admiration &gratitude!
Really excellent CRM. While there is a chain of command, the decision making/actions are shared/agreed. Even time for a little bit of sightseeing and some humour. Perfect leadership environment. And so nice of Cpt Frick to congratulate his co-pilot.
I like that both the Captain and Co-captain are enjoying the view. My flying partner and half owner of our AC was strictly all about the airplane and the mechanics of the flight. I was more into the joy of flying like these guys. My partner had been a B-24 bomber pilot in WWII and actually bombed Ravensberg. What a coincidence, eh?> he passed away in the cockpit from a sudden heart fail on a short flight for us to get 20 cents a gallon better deal. Yeah, we flew on any excuse at all. Totally unexpected. I brought us down without incident, of course. But, it was really traumatic- he was my best friend and a tremendously talented, skilled, pilot- He taught me to fly and gave me more flying knowledge than all my books combined.
That is a sad thing to have happened. And well done to you to handle the aircraft to land in what was an emergency situation. I am certain he would have wanted you to carry on enjoying the freedom of the skies.
