Brilliant mods! Good job! What is ingenius about the basic, core design of the Swiss stove is that it can use multiple fuel sources. Of course wood (small twigs) is that main source but it results in a lot of messy soot. Fuel tablets (like Esbit) works as well: not too clean of a burn and very stinky but can light even when wet. But that's only 2 fuels. Your addition of a "soda can" stove means that you can also cook with alcohol, petrol, kerosene.
Excellent vid Rob. I've just picked up one of these stove's from Military mart, And thought id check out some ideas. Great mods buddy, really impressed with what you have done with it. Thank you for sharing mate. All the best, Jay
Cracking MOD mate. I have that stove works a treat. I have just finished making one in stainless steal from an old flask, i will do a decent film of it this Friday mate.. Have a great new year. Mack.
Thanks for watching Bruce. Gives it a bit more versatility at the expense of being able to carry water. A small Sigg water bottle still drops right in though so still have that option.
