one main reason for me travelling is spending max hours in lounges-especially Asia and soem EU destinations. massive booz and food

@nonrevmax did you find the seats to be hard/uncomfortable, especially while sleeping? what did you think of their bedding? how would you compare seat comfort and bedding to that of united polaris?

Not at all, it was perfectly adequate and good. I've flown on this seat twice with no bad take aways. United has bedding provided by Sach's 5th Ave so it's gonna be better

and looking the service-how much low cost one can do it? Size of portions-laughable. Used to fly LH group years years back, was Senator, recent years only EK or TK. on TK you get so much food and drinks on C for comparable flight lenght (like IST-GRU), that U can hardly walk off the plane. Same for EK

Alternating, so one row is 1-2-1, Swiss rated by Skytrax for 2023 @ #12 vs United @ #49.... I think you can live without internet for 12hrs

Dude shut up, Swiss Soft product is miles ahead of United. I find United a disgrace because if you choose an even numbered seat in United Polaris then you are screwed. I slept in basically the aisle and the metal cart kept hitting my knee. Swiss is far better in terms as hard product as there is more space in my opinion. United’s food is radioactive. Swiss has way better quality as well. United is Trash my guy.

Actually, all rows are 2-2-1 configurations with two double seat options and one solo seat per row. Seat 4K (if I heard correctly) is in a set of two in the very front of the business class. For future reference, try and get either 4A or 5K, solo „throne“ seats in the small, two-row cabin at the front. It‘s the closest you‘ll get to first class without actually buying a first class ticket.
