You my friend, are the A Lange of watch reviews 🙏 I find the Polo to be more sleek and aesthetically pleasing than the Nautilus, and given its availability and the spectacular value proposition, it’s not even a contest for me - Piaget for the win - the dial is spell binding!

I've seen this watch in person... I really loved it. The blue was so intense. The bracelet was really confortable. I've seen one with the blued rotor and it looked very sporty! Thank you Hafiz!

Excellent camera work which provides a visual complement to your description. I think this is a beautiful watch by a truly premier watch manufacturer which does not get enough credit. Although it is often compared to the Nautilus and Royal Oak, I think it stands very strongly on its own as a true "luxury" watch and your video thoughtfully describes its own evolutionary heritage. I tried one on last week at the stunning boutique in Saks Fifth Avenue and the quality is something you immediately see and feel. Another important point is that, unlike the Royal Oak and Nautilus and Rolexes, this watch is available in the second hand market at a desirable discount from its $14,000 list price.

, it's not actually an in-house movement sadly, it's a Cartier MC made by valfleurier, still a great watch though and one I am considering, keep up the great content.

Thanks so much for watching and the feedback. The movement is controversial, and although I know it’s said to be Cartier based but Piaget claim it to be their in-house and own manufacture movement. I spent sometime reading this and couldn’t find a concrete reason and went with Piaget website claim where they mention it as their own manufacture. I also noted that same is the case with chronograph movement which is based of 1110P but identical to Cartier 1904. It could be a somewhere a joint venture between Cartier and Piaget being both owned by Richemont?

Hafiz J Mehmood The guy who wrote this comment gave you a clarity on the movement and that it’s not in house. There is no perhaps, he listed the facts. Great video otherwise.

@@HafizJMehmood I think I read somewhere in my research that this movement is manufactured by Cartier and finished by Piaget. Interestingly, this movement is also used in the VC Fifty Six (with date). Therefore, the in-house description here might be slightly misleading, but can ultimately be said to be accurate (Given that the movement is designed by Richemont, produced by Cartier, and finished by Piaget).

My issue is it is a Cartier movement. And the Cartiers that have that movement are half the price...they dont look as good but at this price point i wish Piaget would do their own movements.

Thank you for the video. It is certainly a beautiful watch and all, but I don't understand how its movement is worthy of a watch costing $10K. There's nothing high horology about it; no modern day silicon components for enhanced precision, it has the same screw adjustment system and number of jewels as a ubiquitous ETA 2824. As a matter of fact, it looks like it uses an ETA 2824 base with a little extra finish, a personalized rotor, and 14 hours of extra power reserve. But it does have 10 ATM of water resistance.

Nice watch, but the butterfly lock is the worst design I have ever seen, it scratch my wrist badly. Very disappointed watch.

Nice watch but in person looks like several other watches that are more original and iconic, it almost looks like a knockoff of other design, and so left the shop empty handed. My GS SLGH003 Hi-Beat on walnut aged strap just feels better and unique.
