It seems to be a perfect weapon for women walking or jogging alone. I would suggest being aware of your surroundings, do not get distracted by cell phone or headphones, try to walk or jog with a partner, when possible. Also, practice, practice, practice shooting and caring for the gun. Most of all, keep the Switch Gun with you at tall times. I keep hearing about recommendations about higher caliber weapons, with multiple magazines, etc. The bottom line is to choose a weapon that can trust will carry and use. Not having it on your person does you know good. I, personally, love the Switch Gun.
Availability of additional cylinders to be carried as reloads would save time but I'd look at it as 5 emergency rounds that would facilitate other options, to include running for cover to insert another cylinder and continue to evade if outgunned
I think you should do a follow up on that unique two hand grip you demonstrated at the end of this video. I'm considering getting a switch gun so I've watched many other RU-vid demonstrations firing it. No one else had come up with that two hand grip you did - where you pull the trigger with the index finger of your right hand, and pull back the hammer in between rounds with the thumb of your left hand. It seems to have many benefits: 1. it allows you to keep your right thumb continually wrapped around the grip, increasing control and aim. 2. As I try it with my hands (no gun) it seems more compact as the fingers of you left hand fit in the grooves between the fingers of your right hand - others I've seen trying to use a two handed grip with the switch gun seem like they they don't have have enough room to use the second hand comfortably. 3. Your repeated firing speed is DAMNED FAST compared to all other demonstrations on RU-vid. I think this is only possible because you use the index finger of one hand to fire, and the thumb of the other to re-cock the trigger. I'm actually more likely to buy a switch gun now that I've seen the two handed grip and firing technique you came up with. So again I urge you to make another short video highlighting the advantages of how you figured out the best way to hold and fire it.
I finally found a Switch gun at my Local gun shop today. I have been wanting one of these guns since they first came out. I'm also considering purchasing another one since they happen to have another one in stock. It seems like it is more practical to have two on me than to reload. I also have the Standard Manufacturing S333 Thunderstruck and I'm also wanting the upgraded version of the S333 Thunderstruck gun as well. I am also very interested in purchasing Standard Manufacturing DP12 double barrell shotgun. Standard Manufacturing are making some new outstanding guns now days and I'm definitely on board with them.
I have the Thunderstruck and I love it. I also have the LifeCard and the Ideal Conceal cell phone gun. I am going to get the Switch-Gun now. I have a thing for small quirky guns and you're right, Standard Manufacturing is coming out with some awesome designs.
Exactly what I was thinking. Keep this baby in one pocket, and my pocket-sized blowdart gun with the poison tip dart in the other (jk abut the blowdart gun . . . but now I'm going to make some for the fun of it).
@@clownworld4655 it’s for the places you can legally carry, but at the same time you have to 100% insure its concealed. It’s perfect for church, work, or out in low risk areas where a business can ask you to leave for carrying. A lot of states have an It’s legal until you’re asked to leave policy, and then it becomes trespassing with a firearm. If they can’t see it and they don’t know it’s there, it’s legal. If you need to reload that thing , your in trouble . It gets you out of a pinch, but nothing replaces a striker fire conceal carry 9mm with defensive ammo …
A swing out cylinder would be nice but that would add size and weight. An major advantage of this gun is extreme compactness and concealability. To get that, you have to sacrifice other things, like ease of reloading.
I remember seeing an antique version of this from the 1800s. The handle doubled as 'knuckle dusters ' and it had a small blade mounted at the front...👍
That was a novelty pistol that barely even functioned at all if ever. They didn’t even have a barrel to speak of and if you actually used it as a knife/dusters you’d break it with how flimsy it was
I wish it had a pocket clip like a pocket knife. I have the NAA version that folds out and I love it. Not the ideal battle gun but you can carry these anywhere no matter what you are wearing.
I have one and I do cycle 1,000+ miles a month and it's one of my favorite guns to carry. Sometimes I go with a LifeCard or the Ideal Conceal cell phone gun. I made Velcro pouches for the Switch Gun and LIfe Card and they fit very well in the hip pocket of lycra cycling shorts.
Especially with the price of North American Arms revolvers with folding grips. The only real difference is they don't spring open. That and the design of the grip on this looks nicer.
@@tonyochoa7097 .22 magnum is a big bullet. I don’t think this thing is a novelty at all, more of an hitman’s best friend… Only downside is the slow reload. But again, .22 mag is a big bullet. Doesn’t matter where you hit, that motherfucker’s going DOWN hard.
The design has intrigued me, but I'm wondering if it would be slower than the North American Arms? With the NAA you would reach into your pocket and pull it out by the handle and you're ready to shoot. With the Switch Gun you'd lose some time pushing the lever to get the gun in a shooting position. I have the NAA Pug (1 inch barrel) and the Sidewinder (1.50 inch barrel) which may help with accuracy. The Pug's sights are nice. The Sidewinder's flip out cylinder helps speed up reloading. But I still might consider the Switch Gun. Best Duane
I have the NAA 22 mag with the fold out grip. There is a belt clip so you don’t have to drop it in your pocket and mine has a 1” barrel. I’ll take my NAA.
i have one worry, too me it looks like it STILL after all that may print like a gun (due to the cylinder possibly being wider than the handle, plus the hammer). Which, as tiny as they are, NAA Mini still print in a pocket with a gun shape. If this doesnt solve that, it's useless IMO. also not one review chron-d the thing. weird. with a .75 barrel it will be even less power than a naa mini, but how much less is the question. also also, theres one review on buds for this gun, and that one reviewer claims it got rust very quickly. that seems odd, isn't it stainless? i wonder if hes just a weirdo carrying in a rainforest or sweating a lot lol, but if not that's troubling.
One concern: When that thing is folded, the muzzle is pointed at the shooter if it’s held level. The shooters hand may actually be in front of the barrel while deploying under stress regardless of orientation. In fact, I saw the muzzle of that loaded handgun pointed right at the reviewers palm and wrist near the end of the video, then after he took it out of his pocket just before he fired, he pointed it right at his own stomach. If the hammer and trigger are locked while it’s folded, it would be less of an issue. Unless I missed it, I don’t hear anyone covering that in any reviews so far.
Picked up one today..just a couple of quick questions…When you pull down the switch release to release the gunout of the grip, do you hear an audible click when you release the button? Do you have a slight up and down on the actual gun when extended if you tug on it. Thanks for your input.
I bought one today and it isn't worth the price. So cheaply made and to be honest, I've shot probably every kind of gun there is and i wouldn't shoot anything out of this junk and will send it back on the AM so disappointed!!!

Cool gun, but for the nearly $500 price tag I wouldn’t buy it. This would be a great gun to toss into a center console or to keep in your shorts when you’re going to the lake or something.
Seems like a little handy gun to have while out hiking in the woods with my dog but I worry about the ease of firing for someone with slightly large hands
I have a Switch Gun and I have large hands and it handles very well. The handle is bigger than the rest of the gun (depending on how you measure things) and this gives you a surprisingly large grip area for such a tiny gun.
Looks like a NAA clone. I prefer the Ranger2 with a few ammo pods speed loaders. With a.88” barrel this is basically a Saturday night special. At least NAA has a 1” or two for actual use. Extremely expensive

Seems cool but it takes too long to deploy. If you're having to pull out of concealed carry gun chances are you are in a situation you're about to die. Like somebody already has a gun or a knife pulled on you.
I have a few questions.... First. I see this advertised on Instagram as a mail order deal for $70 USD. Is that even legal? Can we buy a .22 through the mail? Also, does $70 seem like a scam or are they trying to Fire Sale these? Second. Can that hammer accidentally be cocked when closed? Is there anything preventing a user to cock the hammer and then close the handle leaving it in a precarious state? No review seems to cover this "what-if" issue. Thanks

I aim to keep those risks as low as humanly possible. bullets flying in my home is not a safe scenario. - thats how I stay safe at least! -Did you know that in most of the world guns valuable enough that you might actually increase your risk of getting robbed at home if you have guns? -800$ worth of rifle is enough for any lowlife to consider robbing you when you leave for work rather than the neighbour... ;)
I learned that if you’re going to carry around a loaded revolver, leave one of the cylinders empty. That’ll be the cylinder your firing pin rests in. Otherwise you run the risk of your firing pin bumping against the primer of the bullet it’s resting against and causing it to fire. Don’t even need to pull the trigger, just bump the cock with a mallet and you’ll see.
Do you have too have a permit too carry one of these being a 22 but technically it’s a concealed carry? For Pennsylvania I tried looking it up but it was only for regular pistols.
