--Description of Video--
Decided to go in and update this time since I learned about a new route and the glitch that was discovered. A really crazy time now and I'm certainly really happy with this.
This time is 0.57 seconds off the known WR right now (as far as I know) across all consoles. You can see that time here: • Sonic Superstars Cyber...
The main difference with my run is that I start right at the beginning instead of waiting. For some reason that allows me to meet a similar time as the current video linked above. This leads me to believe that since the player in that video is faster than I am throughout this entire stage, this stage could possibly see a sub-2:10 in the near future.
Another thing I noticed when comparing runs with this record is the difference in cycles between PlayStation and Switch. I tried doing this player's cycle delay by jumping twice at the start, but got a very different cycle setup. Not too sure as to what the reason for this is or if it varies by the platform you play with (which is unlikely, but a theory that I do not know the answer to; someone can inform me here). However, this leads me to believe that if we find the optimal cycle and route for this, we may definitely find a way to get a 2:05 eventually, which would be bonkers.
I am definitely going to go for the first known sub-2:11 soon. For now, I'll take this time and showcase this awesome run I have now.
