Iv been running royal purple for 22 yrs. No issues with the oil. Was looking for the best break fluid and amsoil made it as well as radiator fluid. So I went with the transmission fluid in my 2016 tundra and was VERY impressed 👌 👏 I will be using the signature series motor oil in my truck. 😊

I was a little skeptic of Amsoil at first. But I took the chance and now love it. I am now going to switch out the radiator fluid and transmission fluid in all my cars. If Amsoild makes it i will switch to it.

why would you be skeptical of amsoil? they have the best reputation and the best reviews in the business. they pretty much invented synthetic oil, that's why they are "the first in synthetics" there was no synthetic oil before them.

I know a friend with the same car. I persaude him to use Amsoil signature, but he is afraid to use Amsoil Engine Flush before move to use the signature series. He was using toyota engine oil. I told him we will use the flush only once. What is your opinion? Thx alot I like your channel.

@@Syntheticoilprotection I agree with you. His mechanic advise him NOT to use any kind of flush, He said ..just add a new oil, with new filter and run for 100km, then add another oil and another filter!

@@Anonymous20186 Grab some marvel mystery oil, put 1qt in b4 oil change for 10-15min of idle time, drain and use amsoil, if u don't use amsoil then after drain add 1qt of the mmo with your choice of oil, it helps with the sludge minus the harsh chemicals used in the flush.. Your welcome for life

Yes, there's lots of shops that will install Amsoil. Basically you can go to the Amsoil website and look up an Amsoil installer and get it done there. I would watch and make sure you see the products going in just for extra diligence. 5w20 and 0w20 both act like 20 weight when warmed up. The 0w will be a little thinner than the 5w when cold.

the W means almost nothing when the vehicle is running. the only difference is that it will be a little thicker when the engine is cold. if you have a high mileage camry that burns tons of oil then I would go for a 5w30.

I have a 2018 Camry 4cyl that take 0w16. I bought the OE 0w16 amsoil and replaced Mobil 1. Typically I use Mobil 1, but decided to replace it. I’m not here to bash amsoil but they don’t make the signature blend in 0w16. I honestly did not and have not noticed a difference. Gas Mileage is the same, engine respond is the same after an oil change. I really wish they would make the signature blend in the 0w16, but it’s not your typical oil.

That's very common when you do not do the engine flush and you don't do the pi performance improver you're not going to see a huge noticeable difference. You will notice your motor will run cleaner after some time and coming back and changing the oil filter at about 3,000 miles is what I would do if it was my car. When you do the filter change I would do a bottle of Pi performance improver. Once you're done with the oil change I would do the Amsoil engine flush that will get carbon build up out of the motor it'll clean the Rings timing chain oil cooler ports. After doing that you'll notice a fair difference probably about 1.4 average miles a gallon better is my guess depending on the miles on your car. Another thing you can do that I would definitely do if it was my car it's called the Amsoil power foam yellow can and that one you spray into the throttle body and that cleans this heads exhaust manifolds and inside the combustion Chambers. The biggest thing is going to be how many miles are on the car and how much buildup was in it. Also the type of fuel you use makes a very big difference I personally run Chevron living in Las Vegas it is a high quality gas costs quite a bit more but it actually saves money in the long run because your vehicle will run with more power better fuel efficiency. I don’t think doing an engine flush on a car that never misses oil changes or really goes beyond 4 months between changes. I would also be willing to believe that paying $76 for 5 quarts would be a noticeable difference than $36 for Mobil 1. I don’t think I’ll be a preferred AmsOil customer. Mechanic ran diagnostic and scoped into engine to confirm no major build up before oil change to AmsOil. I just thought spending that amount of money would be a huge difference.

Oh yeah there's a big difference from the engine flush especially with a motor that ran synthetic blend or full synthetic. It will get more of the carbon buildup around the Rings also it's good to use the fuel additive that cleans the top end valves injectors helps with fuel atomization. Also the upper cylinder lubricant makes a big difference. Did you install the oil on your car or did you take it to someone to have it put in? I've had customers where they took it somewhere and they never put the oil in that's a possibility if you took it somewhere to have it installed

@@Syntheticoilprotection again I had my mechanic scope it before I changed the oil and said there was no engine sludge and build up. I change my own oil so I know exactly what goes in it. The car runs great to begin with I use fuel additives every 3k, I have an aftermarket k&n air filter and I’ve cleaned the throttle body probably the last 5k. I don’t know if the OE Amsoil is that much different than Mobil 1. That’s my opinion of course

Of course where you'll notice it a lot is the way the oil burns and breaks down oxidizes. Another thing I recommend on a vehicle like yours is the ATF fluid and the coolant are big that will make a big difference in the way it runs especially under load with high heat conditions also with the Dominator coolant boost your car will warm up a lot quicker we should get you off idle up definitely will make a difference. I have found that, with some older Toyota automatic transmissions, changing out very old ATF with new Toyota branded Dexron III will cause the transmission to start to slip. My teenage daughter sold her old Tacoma pickup and purchased a 2002 Camry LE, with a four cylinder engine and a 185k on the odometer. Does Amsoil Signature Series Multi-Vehicle Synthetic Automatic Transmission Fluid have a fluid component that reduces the chances of my daughter's 2002 Camry transmission from starting to slip after an ATF drain and fill with Signature Series Multi-Vehicle Synthetic ATF? Definitely what's going to happen is the detergents inside the signature series are going to take the carbon off the platelets and you'll notice it will shift smoother faster. I also recommend going back in about a thousand miles and doing another drain and fill That's what I would do if it was my personal vehicle. I would continue to do a drain and fill until it looks really good looking.

That's exactly what I'm doing to my Cadillac as we speak I did half the fluid and it shifts a lot better the detergents have cleaned the clutch plates I drove about 2,000 mi and I'm getting ready to go back and do the fluid again and clean the pan and put a magnet in the bottom of the pan.

My plan is to buy two gallons of Signiture Series Multi-vehicle ATF and do three 2.6 quart drain and fills over 3,000 thousand miles - one every 1,000 miles. I’m glad that the 2002 Camry’s don’t have have a transmission filter to replace, like with the 2001s.
