When i changed my transmission fluid it made such a big diffrence in shifting. Good information and i run all amsoil in my car. Cars Running great and very happy i changed everthing to 100% synthetic amsoil. Keep up the great filming and video content.

Dude, appreciate your passion with Amsoil, As I have used it since you were eating "Gerbers". I changed out ALL Fluids, Eng. , Transmission, Differential in my Toyota Tacoma, At about 60,000 miles , Took it for a long drive, About 100 miles. The truck drove probably better than new. But most importantly , My gas mileage noticeably went up . I am now getting at least 1/8 of a 21 gallon tank Better! Also, I must look at the Tach to confirm that the engine is running in certain situations. It is now very difficult to feel or hear the transmission Shift. Also pumped out the old power steering Fluid and added Amsoil P.S. Fluid. But here's where I need to correct you on Transmission fluid change. You MUST remove the Trans. Pan , there is always a lot of particulate matter from the clutch-pack from Break-in and just usage, and it is always a Black goooey substance, Also: The Pan magnets must be cleaned. , and the filter must be replaced with preferably a "OEM" type filter. You then disconnect the Return Line to the Transmission (usually at the Transmission cooler) And place a clear plastic hose on it securely , and the hose needs to be long enough to reach your drain bucket. Then put in 4 or 5 quarts of Trans fluid. Have additional transmission Fluid quarts OPENED AND READY TO POUR (VERY IMPORTANT) Then Have a Buddy start the engine and you begin to start adding in Fluid while he is running back and forth through all the gear positions. The Torque Converter is a very good pump, and if you watch the plastic hose , you will see all the black witches brew being pumped out, this usually last for only a few seconds, so once you see the new pretty red fluid appear in the clear hose STOP THE ENGINE Immediately. Let the vehicle set level for an Hour, and check your fluid level, you will most likely have to add fluid, but very slowly. I have performed this method on many cars over the past 5 years without failure. But that flush and the additional old Transmission fluid MUST COME OUT!!!

Dirt in the oil is what wears your engine out. Regardless of the brand of oil, I would NEVER go 25k between oil changes.

Ok You non believers. Nascar teams use Amsoil diff oil because of the heat and yes Eban is correct 100 percent synthetic not full synthetic which is a blend. There transmission oil is excellent also. Lowering trans temps is beneficial.

I put AMSOIL metric in my Honda CBR's. One I did yesterday. Instant better and smoother shifting, engine felt more smooth, less engine noises, and the rev's picked up quicker/more aggro. I did do a 7 minute half bottle AMSOIL engine flush before putting AMSOIL in. But the results are what I kinda expected. Great!

One correction. The only "jet" to fly at 80,000 feet is the retired SR-71(actually 85,000 ft). Military Fighters hang around 60,000 ft and Commercial Airliners around 35,000 to 40,000 ft. Just saying. Also. I've been running Amsoil in my 4x4's since 1985 and I am an Amsoil Dealer so I'm with you.

I don't care how good any oil might be, I'll never go 25k miles between oil changes. 5-6k miles is long enough for any oil. The vehicle I have now, I got from an older couple who had the oil changed every 3k miles using what ever oil the manufacturer recommended and you can bet your ass it wasn't synthetic oil. It had a little over 304k miles on it when I got it and it doesn't burn any oil at all. It now has about 312k miles and still doesn't burn any oil. The last oil change I did I used mobil 1 synthetic high mileage and their extended oil filter for synthetic oil. I see no need to buy expensive oil for such a high mileage vehicle especially when conventional oil worked so well for the 1st 304k miles. Yes I know the mobil 1 synthetic is more expensive than conventional oil, but not by much.

Hey Eben, thanks for the video and this product, but I noticed the first time you drained the fluid it looked burnt and if any medal particles come out then that could ultimately ruin your transmission. If you could you do that with this product that would be a life saver for me because before my trans was slipping going into second gear, did a drain and fill and it went away. But if I could do a whole flush that would be whats up. Take care

I agree amsoil is an amazing product. I cant see spending that much over the cost of Mobil 1 . For about 99.9% of the daily drivers out there. Mobil 1 provides more than sufficient protection on almost all cars. They ran a BMW for 1 million miles and all parts were still in new tolerances. Its a Honda not a SR 71 or a Ferrari .

I use Amsoil in everything I own even the weed eater,,love u dude,,but to be honest,,and I am,,,motul produced the 1st synthetic oil..in 1968..Amsoil made the 1st 100% synthetic oil in 72..trust a brother,,,,I know. Saying all that,,,Amsoil is at least 50% better than 99% of any other synthetic oil,,,and 25% better than Motul

Eben, if that’s a Honda CRV it has a CVT transmission and Honda recommends you use a HCF-2 transmission fluid which is compatible with the drive belt in the CVT transmission. So you should have used the Amsoil CVT transmission fluid!

My girlfriend has a 2013 Volkswagen Jetta GLI and at first I was putting amsoil European oil in the car and the oil would keep burning off I'd keep having to add oil over and over again when I switched to Castro edge European edition the oil no longer burned off so that's my results from the two oils. With the castor oil I've never even seen it go down at all hasn't burned any oil off My girlfriend doesn't drive that much that's probably why but she wasn't driving much and the amsoil was burning off like crazy.

One thing you didn't mention is those European cars spec an oil that meets European oil standards, which are different. Amsoil makes an European spec oil that can be ordered.

25,000 miles or one year. Please explain to me how & why this 100% synthetic oil requires changing after one year if I only drive 5-10 miles per year. Does it really lose its lubricating ability, or is this just a scheme to sell more oil?

Vehicle is under warrenty until 160000km currently 97000km. Should I use amsoil cvt (is that compatible for my cvt, or should I stick with oem fluid which is Mobil cvt fluid.
