Switched to IOS 5 years back and the only thing or couple of things stopping me from next purchase is integration of back glass on all models, no charger or accessory in the box and lastly price. Lakh rupya toh koi bhi reason se justify nai hai just for a phone, max is 60-70k and that is the maximum highest (and that too if accessories are included in the box). Have used my current iphone for 5 years so gonna use for 2-3 years more till 5g is fully available and by then my yearly cost would be 10k or less when initial cost is divided by number of years phone was used which is justifiable to some extent on a phone, however with current prices and innovation, the phone and technology on current device will become obsolete if used for more than 5 plus years. So will switch to android back again and will purchase a mid-range phone costing between 20-30k, phir wahi 3-4 saal use karo aur aage badho.

Most of these are not deal breakers for me. What I love about Android phones is one can do anything. RU-vid vanced, torrents, cracked apps and stuff like that is what matters to me the most. Well talking about these two operating systems, they both have come to a point of saturation whereby not many things change nowadays after upgrades. So, ultimately it all comes down to what you want with your phone.

The main deal breaker for me is the BACK BUTTON I use gesture in Android But there is a back gesture as well. But here you have to go to top to go back one step And the side swipe is from left Which is useless

you can actually add the JPEG image to your 'Files' in iPhone and then send it as a Document for Higher resolution it works the same as in android except you will have make another extra step but no issues!

Few more jhamelas 1. App lock is not there 2. A proper file hiding option is not there 3. The native keyboard doesn't have haptic feedback on keyboard. You have to use Gboard which again faces crashing issue. 4. You can't use offensive words with swiping on Apple keyboard. (Yea, sometimes it's needed) 5. Google photos doesn't get backed up in the background 6. When it reaches 20% of battery, instead of showing one notification, it stops whatever you are doing just to show that notification. 7. Back gesture is not there, in some apps right to left swipe works and in some there is a button and in some right to left Privacy on Apple is overrated, if you allow the app tracking permission and other permission, it still shares your data with the app. So it's you who is under control of the privacy. So, the point is, even on Android, be smart enough and know what apps you use and what info you share and always block 3rd party cookies. With payments app, we anyway have native encryption on the app itself so not a problem.

I have also switched to iPhone 12 week ago. Yes we are very used to back button and cleaning background apps.but things are working differently . But there are very interesting features like Automation and shortcuts . I loved it.

Negative points !! It's a complete different OS with complete different architecture and concepts. Same as the RAM management is completely different and excellent. You are going to find the differences, it's natural. And I am using JBL bluetooth headset and also Sony pods. I never got that AD thing.

One more thing- the photos that you download on whatsapp get saved to camera roll! No separate album is made for Whatsapp like in Android! This one’s the only annoying thing for me!

Things are way changed for google drive too For photo and pdf downloading use print option then on print interface press and hold that photo/pdf and then save it to files

In android, changing Wi-Fi and Bluetooth is just 2 touch away. In iOS it’s not. If you are on phone, android uses proximity sensor to disable keypad avoiding accidental mutes but in iOS it’s not. USB hotspot is missing. Keypad is not ready for hinglish we Indians use. I recently changed from android to iOS and realised that it was a bad decision. However, the battery management is good in iOS.

Apple is absolutely concerned about your data and voice security. Best choice would be to meet someone in person. Your calls can be intercepted, it's a risk. Apple should block calling and promote meeting in person. Nobody can steal your data and people will make their social connect better.

Biggest drawback is setting Google map as default map app. When someone shares me map locations through their Google map but in Iphone it opens in apple map only and I had spent lot of time breaking my head and lost all hope. I still have secondary Android phone for that use. Secondly their apple messaging app is literal shit.

there is thousands of problems and limitation on ios over android.. i used both and feel android is really practical and useful for day to day use.. while ios have many limitations and boundations.. and less practical for day to day use.. ios target a selected user base.. ios mein file data share ka bhi bauhat prblms hain.. sbkuch bauhat complex hain...

All are bang one few are really irritating and others u will come to live with, but I personally feel gestures are way better in iOS and using search bar to quickly find the apps(may be can also a lack of usage in Android counterparts, still prefer the buttons over there).

I also switch to i phone 13 after almost 10-11 years. Previously I am using oneplus nord 12 gb 256gb. Which is now facing hanging problem after last update and they are actually launching updates without through testing and creates lots of trouble to users. But in my personal experience I only switch due to no hang issues in IOS. Otherwise I really missed oneplus. And seriously data transfer sucks you. And IOS not at all user friendly.

I think iPad makes much sense for all the reasons rather than investing 1lakh in a phone. The ease of Android can't be matched. I use pixel from last 4 years and it's a breeze. iPhone shoots better videos while Pixel takes better photos. Software support is similar nowadays with pixel and iPhones. I also had iPhones before Pixel but the sheer amount of inconvenience is a headache 😅 Download karke dekhna bhul jao. Better buy iPad for study and media consumption it's a better investment.

The only thing good about iOS are privacy and software updates. Apple products get updates for 6-8 years with major OS upgrades and even after that continues to get security patches. So, security and privacy are definitely worth the price else it sucks completely

I used iPhone 12 for a month. Everything that can be done easily on Android is complex in iOS. Like to turn Auto brightness on and off, you have to go to Accessibility>Display> Auto Brightness. This I had to search for. And in Android, everyone knows how easy. Also you cannot play a mp3 file in any app like Poweramp etc. No EQ settings, no bass and treble adjustment available. You have to just download the mp3 file in some compatible apps, and then you can play the file in the apps native player only. It's ridiculous. Also as soon as the screen goes black, the music stops. Only the Spatial sound from the speakers was good from iPhone 12. Rest everything else is a big no for me. Smoothness is there, no doubt, but while using apps like IRCTC, HDFC, the UI is again complex. The drop down menus are horrible. Going back and forth in apps is a pain in ass, sometimes the gestures work and some apps don't support them. Charging speed also slow with the 20 W charger. It took 1hr 40 mins for full charge and I got 5-6 hrs SOT max. So, I sold it after 1 month and I am waiting for my S22+. Android Rocks. iPhone is just a hype. For 1 month I felt a slave of Apple. Android users are kings, Apple one's are slaves. And for around 72000 I will be getting a better bigger screen with 1750 nits brightness, faster charging, Android freedom, better cameras with an additional telephoto lens, 8k video recording, better potrait video, better bezels, free buds and much more as compared to iPhone 13 for almost same price.

there is no need to kill apps in the background. iphone ram management is best. That's why they don't give options to kill all background apps. Even high end games like pubg you can open after 2 or 3 days and it will start from the same screen where you left, it will not start from the scratch and load.

I am using iPhone since 2021, I agree at some points that WhatsApp backup, but your WhatsApp photo point is wrong. You just have to save photos to files to share as documents. Second about google drive -> you can not download from the google drive application but when you open files and then go to browse, you will see 3 options 1) iCloud 2) on my phone, and last 3) google drive --> you can open, share, upload, download files/photos from there. so please research more before spreading the news.

Baki I don’t know, do u feel that many apps, including WhatsApp freeze on iPhone? It feels to me that most of the apps that run on iPhone are just an afterthought. They where made for android and hence has the full array of features while using on android. I iPhone many times the apps freeze and then I restart my phone. It’s been just 25 days association with the iPhone and I just hate it. For the money you pay you should get a hardware on which everything works perfectly, but it doesn’t
