She’s recently been struggling a LOT with hair care. She’s very tender-headed and hates getting her hair done. As a result, it gets knotted a lot. Anyway, she recently asked for a wig and in researching them we came across your channel. We literally sat together and watched two hours of your vlogs! Her face…brought tears to my eyes. She was thrilled and validated at seeing kids like her and see your hair and beauty videos (she loves hair and beauty!). We are going to save up for a wig from Wiggins-can’t afford it just yet. She is worried her friends at school will make fun of her for “suddenly having different hair.” We are working through that. I just want to say, through tears as I type this, how grateful I am for you, your family and your channel. When we adopted Anaya I promised God that I would honor her culture, her needs an AA young woman and always do everything in my power to make her feel loved, seen, beautiful, and honored.
