Love it, that view across the lake is awesome ! If you are looking for a powerbank Alan I've recently bought a Supa SP-300D for my California. Best thing I have bought for a while, super small ( in my opinion) don't even notice it in the van. Hope you and Sarah enjoy the rest of your journey which I'm sure you will. I wish I was there with you ! Ha ha 😂
I know, we said that ourselves! Maybe we should charge people to come away with us to guarantee good weather 😂 Damage is just cosmetic, needs a new plate and repairs to the bumper 👍🏼

Great vids and well produced, I think I saw that you had sleeping bags in the pop top was I right?? And if so do you have my recommendations??? We have used a duvet but as things get colder I think a sleeping bag each might be warmer…..looking forward to seeing more of your travels…John & Avie
Thanks very much 🤩 Yes we realised the importance of a good sleeping bag when we used to sleep on mountain summits in a tent. We use a Rab Ascent 500 (for Alan) and 700 (for Sarah). They’re lightweight, really warm and fairly wide so not too restricting. Love a duvet in the summer but always down bags in winter 🥶
@@Professionalmoochers that’s great advice thank you, we picked up our new Cali Ocean in May so this is our first winter, because of the vents in the pop top it can get draughty and the heater can only do so much up there have you considered a Rainscreens type wrap around for the pop top, I noticed you had a windscreen wrap fitted

Loved this video. I'm just planning a trip - bought Spa F1 tickets as a surprise for the wife's birthday. Planning on doing that, then heading down to Black Forest, before 4 or 5 days in Switzerland (actually been looking at this campsite!), before heading back towards home. Any tips on best places to stay, things to do etc? Definitely fancy the boat trip to Interlaken.
Can I be your wife?? I wanna go to the F1!! 😁 If you’re camping, I’d definitely stay at this site. We’ve actually just revisited this site so video will be a few weeks yet. The ferry picks you up and takes you into intterlaken (for free if you’re staying local). Have a great trip 👍🏼

I really liked the look of 'Camping Jungfrau', but it's 5 day minimum stay, and can't get the extra day (without a very very long drive home!!). Look forward to the new video.

Love Switzerland, was my fav place during a Euro tour I did with a friend on our motorbikes. The wife and I are off on a Euro tour in our campervan, heading that way at the end of May/start of June, did you have to pre-book the site?
We do too! Switzerland is easily our favourite country 😍 We booked this site the day before we arrived. We try not to make any plans incase we change our minds but, there aren’t a lot of pitches near the lake so it’s advisable to book this one. Have an amazing time 🤩

Mate Switzerland looks realy nice. Feel for you doing the drive though. Were thinking of upgrading the van after christmas (clean air charge and all that) and trying the usual layout you get with a vw camper. We got Edinburgh next weekend though so will do a vid on that. Have you got a diesel heater. If so which one have you got?
It looks 10 times better than any video can show you too 🤩 California comes as standard with the Webasto heater and it works an absolute treat! Needed it in our first 2 Switzerland videos as it was below zero 🥶
Aahh, heard good things about the webasto heaters to be fair. Think we are going to look for a T6, have you looked if this clean air crap will effect your van?
