I know Aristides have their own take with that Arium stuff and some brands experiment with recycled paper and bamboo. Do you see Solar getting into this? Cheers from Brazil!
The problem with most sustainable materials is they have a hidden waste to produce that no one talks about. IKEA furniture is a good example: their items require lots of wood to create, but because they’re not pieces that are big enough to make furniture and those woods are non-durable, cheaper woods, they turn it into things like OSB, but doing so still does not produce enough material to make furniture, so they require more wood than using real wood to create pieces of furniture, it’s just not made from solid pieces like real wood. However, real wood is expensive because of government regulations on how much lumber can be cut of the desired species, and the pieces of wood you can cut down often have regulations on the dimensions of what you can cut. Therefore, sustainability of wood in this case is actually closer to deforestation than using the real deal. Wood in general is sustainable. It’s not like you throw guitars away every day.
I played it in the 90s miss painting them so much, chaos and spacewolves were my favorite models to paint and I have been thinking of getting back into painting them again 🤘🏻🤘🏻

FWIW, I watched the 5,000 coffee bean guitar video last week and enjoyed it. The builder does play guitar and was very resourceful with that project. He chose the materials to promote a childhood friend's coffee bean business, so it wasn't a random choice.

Love the Warhammer interlude Ola! As a metalhead and long time Magic player, I began to notice the artwork on a lot of metal covers a while back. I'm now convinced that there are vast quantities of scifi/fantasy nerds in the metal community who love stuff like warhammer, magic, DnD, video games and everything nerdy.
So excited to see you getting back into Warhammer 40k! I used to sport a Chaos (40k) and Dark Elves (Fantasy) back in the late 90s. I alway enjoyed creating the scenery landscapes. Great riff challenge contributions this week!

We just started learning D&D with our kids. We've been wanting to play something fantasy but that we actually "do" opposed to video games etc and they love LOTR, Hobbit, WoW, ESO, etc... So far they love it and it gets us all sitting down together to do something fun as a family!!!

This was a great episode...because it was weird. I like SWOLA because it's unpredictable and down to Earth. You are so casual and comfortable and I think that's why we all look forward to it. I hate Saturdays now because I have to wait another day. BTW, I always hated Chuggo, but I like Pluggo.
I never played Warhammer but I used to paint and put together plastic model cars, trick em out put different rims and tires on them...man I should get back into that!

It is great. Just be prepared to overpay. I have been collecting for about ten years and stopped because of the continuous price bumps. Other than that it is pretty fun
I got into Warhammer this year and it has been the most therapeutic new hobby I've ever had. My son is 11 and it was a big reason I wanted to do it as well. Hope you give us more updates!
