Swopping ink on an Epson - ECOTANK printer 

This guys video FINALLY helped us to fix our Epson 4760. The black ink stopped working after we refilled it with a highly rated Amazon brand ink. It almost ruined our printer. Stick with the genuine Epson inks because the Epson eco tanks are finicky with the ink they will use. I was able siphon the bad ink out with a syringe. Thank you for making the video!

I had a color clogged and no epson cleaning or flushing worked, epson customer service was unhelpful at best. I didn't know how the printer was build so I couldn't take it apart. This video literally saved my ass, I flushed the cartidge, refiled it and it's working perfectly now! The only different thing in my model was the annoying lever that doesnt let you open the printer more than 5cm and the plug on top of the cartiges, but I managed to pop off the side panel without breaking the plastic pin and got around that. Thank you for saving me money since I was about to buy a new printer lol.

I have just made the leap from cartridge to eco tank all-in-ones. When I replace the stock ink with CIE's do I have to wait until the particular ink tank is empty? Is it possible to accidentally overfill a tank?

I accidentally put magenta in the cyan tank, with the magenta tank already full of magenta as well. It was printinf normally for a little bit, considering I had some cyan left in the tank, but not a lot, hence why I was refilling it, but I accidentally put the magenta in. Now my prints are pinker. Idk if I should print multiple pages of magenta or cyan to get the magenta out of that tank. Does the printer recognize the color or does it just immediately take the color out of the specific color ink tank thinking it is that. So if I print cyan, would it take the ink out of the cyan tank, even though it is magenta ink in. There was some space for more ink in the cyan tank from where I've still been printing normally and I'm just filling it with some cyan to see if it helps. Edit:nope. Now I'm stuck with 2 full ink tanks of the wrong color and the printer isn't taking any ink from either one. It's acting like they are just empty. I was just gonna use up all the ink, but that didn't work and now my printer is also saying things in the printer are at the end of their service. I looked up that and only found things about the ink waste pad. Could you or do you have a video covering that? Edit: Okay, so yours is definitely different than the 2400, wven though they looked very similar. I only saw one screw on the left side, but nowhere else. I now don't know how to take off the cover and am stuck. I really wanna get this fixed. I print a lot and this is obviously beginning to be a problem for me. And about ink waste pad, I think I found where it is at. It's on the right side on the back. I haven't unscrewing it yet and looked, but it seems to look like thats where it is.

Can you remove fresh sublimation ink et-7750 to put in a new replacement printer?

What size gauge and length did you use for the adapter? I accidentally put cyan where black is supposed to be. So mad at myself.

I can buy a used epson et2750 for $100 bucks, but he says it needs to be cleaned. Is there something that should be ran thru to clean it? Is it worth buying and cleaning?

Installation went easily though the HP Smart Printing doesn't work well with our laptops - having to select the actual device. Will have to see how the HP Instant Ink program works out. Plus haven't been able to set up printing from smartphone yet - either direct or WiFi

Hi. I have this printer and I took out the cartridges and cleaned the print heads. I also pulled some the ink from the tank to make sure i didnt have a clog there as well. My blue was clogged. I reassembled but now the ink from the tanks dont seem to reloading the cartridges. I am wondering if i stretched the tubes like you just talked about or if there is another issue. If i have stretched it. Is there enough play to remove the very end for tighter fit

Epson EcoTank 1500 put yellow ink in the Cyan (brand new printer which has never printed) can I get the yellow out? I want to cry...

There is literally nothing coming out, like barely any ink and the tank is full. And when I pulled sone out and took the syringe out it also got ink all over the tube and probably in the printer, so idk if thats an issue.

When i pull the ink through syringe into the damper, it's coming, but when I take out syringe, it goes back into the ink tank. What's the problem?

Hi, I’m wondering would it be the same process to drain ordinary ink out and refill with City Ink Sublimation ink would this be a complete flush out with head cleaner or drain/fill and prints number of items off first please

Have you ever swapped out sublimation ink to echo solvent water-based ink in an Epson eco-tank 15000? I was told by a few people that it will tear up my printer. If you have any tips or tricks please let me know. I did watch the whole video and it gave me more hope then I had a little while ago. Thank you for your video!!

I mistakenly put the standard ink in, instead of sublimation ink. After removing the ink, will I need to flush the reservoirs before adding the sublimation ink?

Can you exchange the EcoTank ink for Hard Solvent Inks? I am aware this will corrode some parts of the printer and render the printer useless after six months, but I am happy to take this risk.

You got to be kidding me. WHO designed this trash. I just threw mine in the dump. The black ink in the reservoir was dried and wouldn’t pump through. I’ll never use this brand again.
