Quinella: All that, for a drop of blood? You have my respect, Mr. Kirito and lady Medina. When I'm done with both of you, half of Underworld survivors will still exist. I hope they remember you.
Medina's death hit a painful cord in Kirito's 'gaming' life. Depending on where you view when Lycoris happens in the Gameverse timeline(s), he had to witness people who he cared about dying (or trying to die) with him being powerless to prevent said sacrifices. Lycoris couldn't happen before (Re:) Hollow Fragment (Sinon's first bed scene refers to her training with Kirito back in SAO when she was trying to master the use of a bow). The poor guy needs to be comforted. To recount the number of losses in non-canon Kirito's existence assuming that you never tried to pick the option to save Strea in Re: Hollow Fragment. 1) Failed to save the original Sachi's life. This is something that remains true no matter what. 2) IF you couldn't save the original Strea, Kirito feels immense anguish and is only relieved once Yui said that due to her saving Strea's data, Strea could be brought back to life. This is his second failure but only if you chose to not save Strea as you can save her in Re: Hollow Fragment as opposed to the original. 3) In Hollow Realization, he feels regret and sorrow that his failure to realize that the harsh treatment that Genesis got from other players (he had it coming though due to his irrational and very annoying habits and personality) as partially his own fault (Kirito's) which led to Tia's understandable hatred towards humans and other AI. Third failure if you didn't save Strea in Re: Hollow Fragment. 4) In Lycoris, he feels incredibly guilty in being unable to save Alice from being captured by the Integrity Knights when they were young, failure #4 and this is again, the second canon tragedy that takes place in a non-canon game. 5) Yet again in Lycoris, his inability to prevent Medina's death absolutely tears him apart. Thankfully Eugeo didn't die, albeit Kirito begins to elaborate by nearly chewing his friend apart verbally by explaining how depressed he'd become if Eugeo did die. Medina dying with a helpless Kirito causes the latter to undergo the same amount of anguish and depression that his canon original felt when Eugeo did in fact die. Had Eugeo not been present to comfort Kirito, there's little doubt that the latter would be having a serious existence crisis over the fact if he should be allowed to live or not. Eugeo's death, in the canon timeline, was enough to bring Kirito into such a despair that he didn't want to live anymore (just like in the canon timeline for SAO, losing Asuna did the same thing to Kirito) and only thanks to his friends, did Kirito snap out of that state.
@@noobdude5933 The Hollow Area is a 'side' story, although it does contain quite a lot for (Re): Hollow Fragment. Saving Strea requires having done a fair amount if not all of the Hollow Area story beforehand and the two final bosses in said story are an utter pain if you're underprepared.
;_; this is truly heartbreaking honestly, I have a strong emotional bond with sao characters and kirito has had alot happen over the course of this universe in sao games. The losses hes had and the strength hes had to put out to attempt saving peoples lives
Thank you Medina I’ll never forget the kindness and lessons you taught us all throughout our lives thank you for everything you did for us may you always live in the hearts of those around you and ours as well💙🌸🐬🧿
@@minarie396 That's not quite right. In the Gameverse, events were quite different. The order of the Gameverse timeline in the main games were Infinity Step/Re: Hollow Fragment -> Lost Song -> Hollow Realization -> Fatal Bullet -> Lycoris. Kirito met a different version of Alice and Eugeo in HR, in which the famous duo didn't even know who he was and Kirito had no clue on who they were in general and he has no idea what they're talking about regarding the UW. The same duo would later reappear in Fatal Bullet, getting lost in transit upon trying to return the UW and failing and instead got sent to GGO. Lycoris follows after Fatal Bullet (Sinon would make this clear in her dialogue where she mentions the Death Gun Incident and Johnny Black back from Fatal Bullet and how Kirito got trapped in the UW.) The Alice and Eugeo in Lycoris are native to the UW aka they never left the UW and wound up in SAO, ALO, SA:O or GGO due to unknown causes. The Gameverse is a separate thing from the canon timeline even with the non-canon games including modified canon events. Asuna, Silica, Liz, Leafa and Sinon all recall events from the previous games they were in making connections to SAO (Infinity Step/Re: Hollow Fragment), ALO (Lost Song), SA:O (Hollow Realization) and GGO (Fatal Bullet) in their first quests with Kirito upon being introduced to Kirito's friends in the UW.
@@bitrel07 I know that since SAO: HR is before Alicization Lycoris, they don't know each other. Alice don't know Kirito and Eugeo due to her from the time before the duo invade Axiom Church and Eugeo don't remember Kirito obviously because of him being Integrity Knight. I believe somehow those two not only come from different world, but also different timeline as well. Maybe they are some sort of copy AI of Eugeo and Alice with the memories of the real version still intact. I still don't know is their involvement to past games DLC canon, and if it is, it make no sense how these phenomenon happened and especially in Hollow Realization, which at that time, I don't think Underworld hadn't been a world yet. And it also kinda confusing that what happened to them between HR and Fatal Bullet.
I'm really confused. I beat the administrator twice now and I still haven't gotten this stuff. Why? (Edit) Whenever I kill the boss it sends me back to where I can either press nevermind, prepare equipment and final battle. And it keeps doing this over and over, I see no difference, is this the end?
You’re done with the game bro😂, It just send you back if you wanna farm the boss to level up. But you can just go to world map and travel to a random town or do random quests
I'm not sure, but at the end of that scene of Medina saying goodbye, they give you a gem that you only have before the final boss and then it disappears if you pass it on. Something needs to be done with that gem.
I have tried multiple things and different characters for the final boss, even I have done it without partners, but I can't find anything. I have not tried them all.
well, lorewise of course it's from alternate timeline/universe. And there's an event in the game that mentions Eugeo's death too. SPOILER . . . . . . . . . . (Tiese dreams about Eugeo's death)
vilvet hope it’s okay since GGO kinda ‘bend’ the timeline back to original a bit, deathgun event happened, Kirito got assassinated and thrown into UW. So it’s totally okay if you watch anime and this is your first SAO game (except when doing sub quests people might mention about game-verse plots).
