Yes. I am really enjoying it the combat. Not wild about games with a home/hub you have to return to constantly, but no biggie. The fights are really fun. Story is alright.
No freedom wars is way better in terms of story tho but the both have repetitive bosses with different colours so yeah in some aspects they are very similar
The reasons why today’s Anime games don’t have English voices because Bandai dropped out the R1 anime distribution industry years ago, which is where they pulled in most of their voices for the video games division. Nowadays they only dub the games that are expected to pull in a large amount of profit like anything from the Tales franchise.
@@tragedy2722 haven't played this game on the switch but from playing it on the ps4 and as the game in whole its really fun and can last you awhile. It's one of the best SAO games I'd highly recommend it for the switch I know its still very good.
BROOO!!! I’ve always wanted to try one of the sword art online games and I just so happened to go into the Nintendo shop to see how much it costed and it’s 85% off right now but only for one more day. it’s normally 60 fucking dollars but it was only $9. I’ve never bought a game so fast in my entire life.
Buying this tommorow, Just playinh through my first SAO game Hollow Realization and loving it. The Visuals in this game are my weakness. Cel.Shaded is my favorite art style in games. I can't wait to have this in my collection and to play it.Even if the review was bad Iwas still going to get it. This game is a done deal for me.
It would be cool to have a video game that just feels like the first arc of Sword Art Online 2. But I guess this is all we get and we are grateful every day.
I personally struggle with shooters on the switch, even when using a pro controller.. or my new weapon of choice SN30 Pro 2. I think I've got too used to 60fps shooters so when it come to aiming at 30 I find it rather difficult so the intentionally heavy aim assist makes this game seem rather appealing to me plus Fatal Bullet was one of my favourite SAO arcs anyway.
Nah I have the same issue with bioshock and borderlands. Switch seems to have some form of input lag or interference when it comes to aiming with joysticks. Sucks idk why that is
What i hate the most is the fact you can’t skip the credits. You can skip everything else, EXCEPT THE CREDITS. With a game that has multiple endings, why can’t we skip the damn credits??
Hmmm, looks fun! The combat looks like Saints Row IV and The Third Birthday, I think.... I may buy this game someday. Even if I don't watch SAO so I have almost zero idea about the series save for knowing how Kirito and Asuna look like, the combat makes it interesting for me.
i played a whole day thinking the green jewel thing at the bottom meant my progress was being saved but came back the next day finding i had to start everything over i wish there was a manual save
Thats the auto aim and its not the best option, i always turned it off. What kills me is the best weapons DO NOT COME FROM the MAIN game at all. They come from side activities and multiplayer.
I know I’m a bit late to playing this lol but I’ll give it a try. I love SAO which is why I’ll try it out for myself. Anyways thanks for your review on this, it’s helpful regarding the gameplay, etc.
How’s the multiplayer for this game? Does it have Pvp modes like team death match or free for all? Or is it like enemy raids or something like in the typical Sao games?
Yes all. For the last part there are co-op dungeons you can quest with a max of 4 people and eventually take on the boss together. There are PvP modes with and without a boss to kill faster than the other team. You can get what you need in SP but you can also get good gear early grinding in co-op dungeons but sadly players will never be able to join your single player worlds to help you with that
I have a question for those that completed the main story. Q: I'm curious how many world maps there are. (NOT DUNGEONS) I just got the game 3 days ago for switch and I'm in the Forgotten Forest already. I'm curious if it's massive like SAO: Hollow Realization & Hollow Fragment or if it's small like SAO: Lost Song.
There are 5 maps in the game. Radiant Wasteland Solitary sands The city ruins Forgotten Forest And the fifth one is only if you get the DLC for it it's called"Frozen Wasteland" The biggest one out of the five would be solitary Sands that map is pretty big Second biggest would be the Frozen Wasteland In my opinion the most prettiest map is the Forgotten Forest but my most favorite map in the whole game is the city ruins. Running through an abandoned City shooting robots kind of reminds me of Fallout and Bioshock and other video games especially when you're zipping around from place to place with your UFG
@@nightcorefan1440 There is only one DLC level (Frozen Wastelands) and the enemies there are level 80ish. If you beat the game, you can set the difficulty to extreme, which levels the enemies in the starting area to 70ish, and scales up from there.
I just bought the Switch version a few days ago. I was wondering if you notice white and/or pixelated colored lines on the bottom or right side of the screen. It usually happens to me when I use the UFG or change outfits. Also see it happen more when it's undocked. I just want to make sure other players have this and it's not me so I know if I need to buy a new switch or not.
Ngl I love the game, especially on switch, just wish there were more people online, probs was dead hour but I really wanted to do some coops and some free for all
Wait so im in japan. I bought this game as the Coplete Edition at GEO and its not brand new for ¥5989, so roughly $60. The included paper with the code is in it but i cant use it anymore. So does that mean i just bought this game at a higher price without the dlc included in it? Or do i have to update it to get the dlc. Or reach a certain point at the game or finish it first. Its Japanese btw and i only understand a little abou it. Please help cause i think i just wasted my money. Physical Copy btw
sounds like it.. you need to know digital copies from the eshop are generally cheaper than physical goods since they don't cost anything to manufacture post game software, nor shipping cost or any other yadayada. Buying physical copy is more of a "collector" thing nowadays, furthermore as you said you don't even fully understand it. I bought a clean and perfect functioning GBA and 2 game cartridges from JP as well when I went there, never once did I touch them ever since returning lol. So yea..
If anyone is wanting the game it is on sale for 4 to 5 days right now for 15 including taxes so if you want it I would suggest getting it now since I think it's regular price was around 50 to 60 bucks
Cool basically the same for me I got my switch literally on Christmas and it was the the second game I got for it my first was my hero ones justice but it's a game card not a download
They've only added a few new dungeons to coop. In my opinion coop is the best part of the game. I play it a lot with my friend, but it can be really annoying if someone has a bad connection.
H A A is there online co-op with just friends or can you co-op with randoms online? And what your saying is only a portion of the game is accessible online? Please let me know ASAP, thank you ❤️
I feel like the worst parts of this game are the large amounts of dialog and the repetitive monsters in almost most area it kills the game a lot for me
Jonathan Soko I love jrpgas man I have played a lot since I got into the genre after persona 4 golden it’s just the presentation that bugs me tbh like they could have made the story more digestible I will get back to it tho
Buy this one its really good you'll enjoy it well if your not into shooters then maybe not. But it is a great and enjoyable SAO game, I love playing it alot on my ps4. Might need to get it for the switch too
IF ur turn off the auto aim circle you will hit wherever you are aiming...i used sniper and pistols...once i could duel them. Got bored once i found out No real reason to play the story more than 1 time as the BEST weapons come from the NPC dungeon delv thing and the multiplayer. Also doing NO DMG aside from hitting their 1 Weakspot and some Bosses MOVE REALLY fast and have a TINY weakspot that is not ALWAYS available to be hit.
Planning on gettin it too but memory space is almost at limit 😅, can you please tell me if it’s just 8 GB or there’s more??? Like, what’s the full size??? Thanks in advance......
It's on sale for 23$ (or your regional equivalent). Check the 50% Essential Picks tab, then scroll down near the bottom on the right-hand side (for me it's between Watchdogs2 Gold and Xcom2)
I find it kind of funny that all the problems that you were said you had when you play the game never happened to me that's what my favorite games on the switch yes I can figure that you might be able to get knocked out of the Ring of a boss fight but in the first place why are you fighting right in front of the door in the first place when I fought boss fight in this game I was always moving around so I was never in front of the door so that part I don't think it's going to something you have to worry about that much why when I was playing I barely noticed any like I don't think I had any and I don't play it on handheld
Game is actually really bad movement feels very clunky I do like the hook shot though, if you want something remotely close to a shooter game this ain't it there is no cover mechanic (which is kind of a nitpick) also the bullets dont feel like they have an impact they just feel like you could replace the guns with nerf guns and it would probably feel more impactful not too mention like he said in video severe lack of level, dungeon, and enemy design
Personally in a game like this I prefer it since you yourself are the character in the story. So technically the dialogue choices that you make should be your own voice.
FattyMcLangy um your late I love fighterz I have 100 hours on pc and 30 on switch still growing I was playing Pokémon for a long time ngl so I couldn’t get more play time
I watched sao and I've played a couple of the games. Lost song, hollow realization, alicization lycoris and of course fatal bullet. As far as the story is concerned fatal bullet happens in its own little bubble. The previosly establish characters of the series are just there without any explanation. But none of what happened in the previous games or the anime is going to be needed to know to understand the story of fatal bullet.
Its just still 59.99, I just think that's insane. It looks great but I did pick up on the repetitive aspect. It seems and looks amd feels awesome, but what a unique style of game play. I like that it seems this will style might show up more often. I would love more continues turned based rpg/fps/tps. More spread sheets the better. I'm just talking out my neck tho. I have played this a few times on others comps and on switch. It's just these prices comming out of these big brand names. They don't move, it hasn't moved in 2 years? I also really want romance of the three kingdoms but man, that price is crazy. It's keeping me from playing games I really want. I will never beable to justify spending 70 on a game. (Roti xiv) Even tho I would in a heart beat. switch edition. I just don't make enough money. I know, I'm a peice of garbage.
I think it would be best SAO game but they couldn manage to make good gameplay enemies so simple and I see same enemy type over and over again which is disgusting after even 5 hours
