Well just because he disliked the arc he can still enjoy the music and since he probably listens to Amalee he listened to this, I didn't like or dislike the arc though. :D
Just finished watching Mother's Rosario. Like, literally a few minutes ago. I cried a lot and I'm still crying while writing this. For me, Mother's Rosario is definitely one of the best arcs in SAO, if not the best...
@@gdas4092 No, no, Mother's Rosario is actually legitimately good. Like, really good. It's good enough that I feel weird lumping it in with the rest of the SAO dreck, and nothing else in SAO even comes close to it in terms of quality.
@@TNS_hacker Haven't seen much of Alicization, but what I have seen has been remarkably unremarkable. Which makes it the second best segment of SAO ever. Aincrad, however, is not good. It is in fact rather bad. It's a very pretty sort of bad, thanks to the production team behind the anime, but make no mistake, it is bad. Not as bad as Fairy Dance or the Excalibur stuff, admittedly, but still. Not good. It is the third worst arc the series has had, and considering the Phantom Bullet arc was still only a D+. Basically, the show's only good when Kirito is not around. Considering he's the main character and thus around most of the time, that's a problem.
It asks a lot of big questions about the world. It questions death, violence, and loss but it also explores the meaning of life, kindness, and acceptance. The entire concept of the show didn't rely on the virtual world becoming reality but how the characters in it responded. Sure it can be silly and cheesy but many people died and many more had to adapt to that new reality.
I like to give the benefit of the doubt in this case. I don't feel like most people watching the show are really picking up on the message it offers and simply drag it through the dirt because they don't care for the other less than perfect elements of the show.
Yep even though it's not like the best out there it's definitely an anime ANYBODY could get into. I'd definitely recommend it to an anime beginner this bc it immediately catches everyone.
I feel as it attracts more American spectators since America really likes to drill into everyone a positive point of view. There's nothing wrong with that but I feel sometimes we're to block out what is realistic. There is no message is this anime, it's literally just for entertainment.
People's might say what ever they want about the show, but it's openings are great and the lyrics of this song are so fitting to the story of the sleeping knight. It's one of the best.
You see there are things like these, that make me want to be a kid again, just so that I can fight air with an invisible sword without being judged Btw best birthday present EVER
Yashvanth Thiruchelvam ironically not dead, she's alive, but her brain is inside the system, she's the same as yui now, and the show doesn't explain this cause it hurts the feels.
Kevin Tan I remember the first time I heard a cover of Amanda's, I listened to it addictively for the next few months. She makes catchy openings more catchy.
is it? Though i do admit the, movement of the first person view is impressive, it is ultimately looking at 4 art. Gets repetitve after time and eventrually you see the flaws in the art itself. But hey, i love the idea though
@@lollystick9925 I only watched the English version, so this was probably a mistranslation, but it was AIDS. Well, it CAN happen in today's world, I think they were meaning it to be a kind of Cancer or something else that was untreatable that caused her to die that's the official (English dub) reason.
Yuuki Everytime i see her in the internet i cried😭 Why did a cute girl like her must die😭 When her doctor said that 2 of them will die in no time i was like "nah it's impossible that they killer her. How did they easily killed such a pure hearted character like her ?"😓😭
I'm guessing innocent characters have to die in stories to get viewers to feel sorry for them. And I think its also a motive driver to get the good guys to avenge them/win for them. What I hate in video games or anime is when a side character dies, and the viewers are meant to feel so sorry for them. In one game I was like "Why would I feel sorry for a character that was onscreen for 5 minutes?"
Yeah yuuki's death hit the author of SAO pretty hard. He said he didn't want her to die and it hurt to write her death scene.. It Really broke the guy's heart
To quote a game (and I do this because let's face it. we're all gamers here probably) "And you know what, it doesn't matter if You believe it. Because others do, as I believed in the Heroes of my father's stories... After all. When we are gone... Stories are what remain" in a nutshell that's a way of saying no one is ever truly gone as long as someone remembers them. or to put it another way. "Someone can have only One life. But History, Can remember you Forever."
This is one of the tragic and hearth breaking arcs I ever watched in anime. This opening somehow encapsulate the emotions and complimented by the visuals just brings back all those feelings back up. I love how you preserved this style of both visual and sound in your cover while bringing new life to it with your own touch. Yuuki and Asuna smiling like this makes me wish they could have kept doing this for far longer time.
Jay_Cyber agreed. I'd actually only discovered this part of SAO after my grandmother passed away from her battle with leukemia. It really helped me find solace in the potential for what we're all capable of achieving in our lifetimes
Okay, so I was watching S.A.O. about 3 months after a really great family friend of mine died of S.U.N.D.S. in January, and this character arc made me cry a lot, and I mean A LOT. This character was honestly the most impactful one that i have seen so far. There is a lot of meaning behind her many quotes but the one that seems to stick to me most is "Sometimes you have to fight to get your point across." which is very helpful and inspirational to lots of people out there. Anyway, hope everyone is doing well. I know 2020 seems like the end of the world but i can assure you, is's gonna be okay. Just be careful, stay safe, and WASH YOUR HANDS!!! Amalee, your music is amazing, love you!!!
Holly Yeah! Shirushi is my favorite ED, too, and I'd like to hear Amanda's version. She did an amazing job with Overfly, so I'm pretty sure she'll slay Shirushi.
I just watched it for the first time. I was okay until one of the female guild member's voice broke midsentence and she started crying. Then I started. It was a mess.
Do you really get criticism because of lyrics?? I'm new here and checked your channel and its really awesome... I salute to your effort in translating and bringing the best of the song... Anyways i love your translated songs. Keep up the good work.
@@keewffbywrhathrrd3603 it is still translating! She is taking the japonese version translating it to english so that it make sence. Its not direct translation but its proper
Somehow, I've gone and lost my way, all this time, I've led myself astray, by following your blinding light and fragile footsteps. Though lost, within a guideless haze, looking for, a way out of this maze, I'll never let a sole regret rain down on me! I will call infinitely, screaming, until they hear me! Our breathtaking endless journey starts, at last, beginning with your cue, its time to shine, its waiting for you! The world you once created inside your dreams is brought to life, as it now leads you and I, across the distant sky! We'll set out toward that steady light, and even though our dreams may change, we'll always keep it in our sights. Heey, so bring it on my way! Barely, visible ahead, its the hope, we're searching for you said, although these scars are meant to heal, I'll keep them with me. At last, theres something I can gain, so for this, I will take all the pain - and more. All this alone is all I need - It's worth the price. Know if, you still feel lonely, Inside your perfect story, the sky I have brought to you is only just a taste of something more, of whats in store. Even though with no end in sight, and thought my feet are on the ground, the wind has made me light, and suddenly I feel spellbound! The world you once created inside your dreams, lives on, somewhere. Its a future I would like to find and live my life. We are unique, like two bright stars, and in this world, we will be loved for who we truly are. Hey, so bring it on my way!! Bring it on my way. Lets go find, a new adventure, traveling the world, though I know in my heart, we may part separate ways, so for a little while more, can we just stay as we are? I've put my faith in you, and I'll always believe. The world you once created inside your dreams is brought to life, as it now leads you and I, across the distant sky, we'll set out toward, that steady light. And in this miracle lies the boundary that we will transcend. Once more, its not the end. The world you once created inside your dream is brought to life, as it now leads you and I, across the distant sky, we'll set out toward, that steady light, and though our dreams may change, we'll always keep it in our sight, 'till our dreams unite. So bring it on my way!
Oh, God, this song makes me tear up. I mean, at first it was just a song that gave me nostalgia for all the awesomeness of the series' past moments (yes, I'm a SAO fan; fight me, haters!), but when Yuuki got here, and we realized that she was gonna die from her illness, I legit cried. It's one of the few times a series made me cry. And now you've gone and done it again, woman.
darkecofreak23 Didn't cry at first, when I saw the whole thing a few years back. After a few years and people passed, I glanced back and swallowed a pretty large stone. SAO + Nostalgia + Outside factors, I almost cried. And I can count how many anime have made me cry one one hand.
i'm not a diehard sao fan but this being the OP to arguably the best sao arc ever made is so deserving - a masterful OP for a rather masterful arc... and this masterpiece of a cover... how much better can it get?
It has been 6 years since the release of this cover I remember playing this on loop while the speakers are placed on both side of my ear because I dont have a headset (speaker have a sd card and I downloaded the music there) Man, the nostalgia that this music gives me makes me teary
S. B my friends and other people who watch sao all say they don't like her because she's not pretty, but if you ask me she is defiantly the best looking! 😆
As much as I dislike SAO, I can admit with certainty that it's op's are normally something that I absolutely adore. Especially this one song right here, so you can imagine how excited I was when I realized that it was finally here xD
MissyV72 I liked it, but I can see all the flaws people pointed out in it, for instance the ridiculously large amounts of time the passed between episodes.
Mystical Umbreon Yeah i agree i loved sao i hope they do more the excalibur quest was kind of happy go lucky though, but mother's rosario really made up for it. That one was so deep man...
I must thank you for this song AmaLee... I have lost a couple of dear Gaming friends in Death, and the years do not dull the pain.. but this song in context of the SAO storyline does indeed express that pain and fond memories of my lost friends well. I ALWAYS get teary-eyed listening to Your Vocals.. THANK YOU. I Love this song!
Now, this is a time to live for. People say you have to go see the world to be satisfied, but I think you can experience the other half of this world just sitting down at your computer.
