i always listened to this song during rough time when i was in highschool, after 3+ years i finally remember this very song again from the beat, lyrics, and EVEN the asuna thumbnail. the wave of nostalgia and EVERY lyrics hits harder now ffs, great fkin song my man. For me this song always encapsulates "i am not alone" vibes espically "cast worries to the skies" and "take my hand, i will fight by your side". Was I the only one who cried a bit during the song? It's really sad, if you listen closely it's telling you friends and loved ones don't satay forever and will leave one day, and when that day comes you need to move on instead of being depressed. Very one will need to move on one day and find new people. So if you're depressed about losing someone, know that you can still move on and find someone new.

I recently lost my girlfriend to a car accident we absolutely loved sword art online I started crying listening to this brought back so many emotions of us watching this series together thank you for giving me a reason to keep going very well done on the cover

The most depressing part of this song is that it can be related to every character... They all aim for their dreams and hopes but for all they know the pain will never end of what's happened to all of them. And it could all be taken away... But they have hope just because they are all together...

Idk why but this song made me kinda sad

The line "How can I ever reach you when I can't even see the sky?" reminds of the part where 'ow the edg- i mean Kirito loses sight of the top of the inside of the world tree because it gets covered up by all the guardian robots. I get that the song is about Suguha but that one line makes me think of Kirito's frustration at not being able to reach Asuna because the top of the tree seems to be out of his reach.

It's sad when anime lyrics are more meaningful and better than pop culture and rap... Todays music is all about drugs, sex and money. And it's pathetic.

Its hilarious that people think the show is shit because it has no character development. Like they think a 14 year old kid won’t be traumatized by 2 people literally dying in front of him. Then at 15 being paralyzed by a laughing coffin member and watching someone else die then him almost dying himself. Then at fucking 16 watch the love of his fucking life “die”. I wouldn’t expect Kirito to have any character development when he went through more trama than 90% of Gen Z on tik tok.

This song really fills me with hope, and makes me feel like I'm gonna be ok after all I've been through. My best friend, who I hung out with almost every day this past year, is my friend no longer. Ever since I foolishly fell in love with her, my emotions have been completely out of whack. We dated, she dumped me, she did many stupid things later, and I began to hate her. Then I realized I was sad that I'd lost my closest friend. But now, I think I've finally moved on. I'm done with her. I feel so...free. This song is great because it's about acceptance and moving on, it really clicks with how I'm feeling right now. Acceptance...freedom...feels good...

I feel like ALO was just mediocre compared to SAO, the whole death looming over the horizon feel was what drew me in. Instead of ALO they should have made the whole 24 or 25 episodes on SAO only and the time skips kinda annoyed me, I would have liked to see both asuna and kirito get better instead of one episode "I'm level 3" and then next episode 'I'm level 22'. Anyway enough of my rant, great work you got yourself another sub

Listening to this used to make me happy because it's my favourite song. Now, I cry even though I say crying shows weakness. It's because I have a lot of friends on Skype and there's one or two that I consider very close friends. One of them lives in Denmark and I really like him. I just realised that I have a huge crush on him, like really huge, bigger than any crush before. I cry because I will probably never have a chance with him. He's in Denmark, I'm in England. "Your hand's not meant for me to hold, and I'll be lonely when you're gone" because I know we'll grow apart when we go to college, get jobs ect. I just wish there was some way for me to be with him. He says he gets bullied and all I wanna do it jump through the screen, hug him and kick the bullies' asses. He means so much to me.

So sad... These isn't Asuna's, nor Kirito's words...These sad words are those of Leafa/Suguha, who loves Kirito with all her heart and soul. A love she'll never get back in return. Regardless, she still loves Kirito enough that she'll fight by his side, even to save the one he loves more than anyone else...even her.
