Scoutdeath572 they kinda mixed the back story of SAO so yea it's just the game but really Sinon was never in SAO she was only in GGO it is confusing but the game put it there for the attention

The games are different to the novel and the anime. The events are similar, but in the games you have the choice of who to fall in love with among the gals.
