Triangle Strategy is the pinnacle of the genre atm, but hopefully the rumored upcoming FFT remake will get enough qol improvements to make it relevant again

This looks gorgeous. We've been starved for actually good Tactical RPGs on Android devices, since Shining Force Remake has not been heard of in a while. And smartphones are such a no-brainer platform for the genre! Looking forward to it.

@@Tombitp i'm amazed when someone makes this statemement, as if they're Blizzard saying "Dont you all have phones?!" I'd much rather enjoy the graphics of this game on my Switch, that has a much larger screen size than a phone. I'd also like to not use all my battery power to play this game, killing my phone faster during the day.

@@TombitpAlmost every game is more comfortable to play with physical buttons. Who cares if is turn based? Ask a fire emblem fan if they would choose touch or buttons to play the game, no one would choose touch.

The FFXII music vibes were hitting so hard, when you announced Hitoshi Sakimoto was the musician involved, I knew already. I'm interested for sure. I've been meaning to get Tactics Ogre remake that released a while ago, after having finished all of Triangle Strategy, so I'm looking forward to more TBS RPG games.

it's a gacha game. they are just paying to use the composer's name to bait players like us who recognize these big names. the game will be nothing like TO, FFT, or TS. it will be a gacha at its core. your gameplay will be bottlenecked by the paywall. you will only log on for dailies until you realize how much time you've wasted.
