@@jofx4051 I thought Qixing Longyuan was in a lot of cases a more chosen option over Baronne for some inexplicable reason.

Unfortunately this comment didn't age well. Albaz lore is done now and we only got one new card in the last set which is literally just Chunjun as a spell card. I'm so disappointed, I was really hoping we'd get a new Synchro and new main deck monsters.

i swear it's rigged to a certain point. last season I usually can play through 3 negates and end with a decent board. now my opening hands always shit even though I play the same deck. this swordsoul usually ends with 3 negates and it's only one omni negate from baronne. you won't get a cent out of me for this mediocre swordsoul deck.

Without DPE, it is viable. Swordsoul has a good synergy with tenyi as both is wyrm type. Same like despia darklord pair as both is fairy. Albaz is good on turn two with many board breaker card and you can use lord of heavenly prison to protect backrow. It still weak with 6 negates board if you get turn two and just have two or three negates top on turn one. U still can do artifact scythe dpe combo, toxic combo, if you want but you will sacrifice consistency if you increase deck size or remove staple handtrap if 40 deck.

@@kaiserdostuff I know that swordsoul has a good synergy with Tenyi, but I always want to build pure decks with just no cards of other archetypes (except archetypes whose lore is the same, like Raidraptor/Phantom Knights, World Chalice/Mekk Knight, Swordsoul/Albaz/Dogmatika etc)

@@deckardshaw6696 you can tbh, two extra deck card of swordsoul archtype alone is very strong. You just don’t have enough extension. I do play that kind of deck if i derank myself to silver or gold after reach plat 1. The new cyberdark structure deck is also good by its own if you want single archtypes with 5k beatstick.

@@deckardshaw6696 Maybe Icejades, though that may just apply later on since the Icejade cards we have now in MD aren’t really strong enough to be mixed in.

probably that droplet didn't send monster card as costs, so you can respond with monster effect.

You cannot activate effect of the same type of card that was sent as the cost of droplet. My droplet got negate a few times due to this.

I don't realize that effect cause ussually people use monster and my monster cant negate that so i prepare trap to negate that

Swordsoul deck hard to brick since it’s two card combo. U just need one in hand or one in gy, depend on your starter card.
