I was initially using Stormwatch for my tactical slot. After experimenting with Elemental Convection I decided to switch. Swapping out tactical items added Volt Rush into the rotation and allows for more Chain Lightning. This really mixes things up and adds more variety to my rotation. What tactical Item do you prefer? Why? Please share your thoughts below and let's have a discussion.
I use Stormwatch for Single Target DPS and for all Operation and Flashpoint Bosses with very few exeptions. Between the Bosses i use Elemental Convections for more AoE DMG.
very nice video. What's your opinion on Eyrin's Haste? During Force Speed, the three instant Lightning Bolt hits harder and Thundering Blast also hits harder. But you can only pick one during this time, 1 x TB or 3 xLightning Bolt.
Post expansion I have mostly been playing Madness. I haven't tinkered too much with Lightning, yet. I think with the current state of things I would lean toward Eyrin's Haste because of the instant Thundering Blast proc and increased damage. While Stormwatch (might?) do more damage I would prefer the instant Thundering Blast in my rotation. Have you had a chance to try Eyrin's Haste or any of the other Tactical items yet? If so - which one did you end up choosing?
@@inaudiblefuzz I am using Stormwatch and compare to Eyrin's, it provides slightly higher DPS imo due to well, all those dots. Eyrin's Haste is better in 4v4 or warzone where you are restricted with space (Odessen), I think. I also think Eyrin's is better when you face a Jugg/Guardian because in my case, the Stormwatch's dot heals them through Enraged Defense lmao.
I haven't tinkered too much with Lightning since the expansion but I believe this rotation would still work. I think you would have to drop Phase Walk to spec into Volt Rush and that should do it. Please let me know how it works out! I have been having a lot of fun with the new Madness rotation so I am not well versed with the Lightning changes, yet.
Yeah... MMORPGs just aren't for me, even with a star wars coat of paint. Just wish I could play the game without it feeling like I gotta go to school for the shit. Can't memorize keybinds, can't figure out how to use numbers for more than one row in the interface setup and keybinds, and I'll never be able to use WASD and the num keys at the same time. Shit's ridiculously hard
