Used to run matches with Ink on SS with the PvP community I'm in. He got kicked out after we had learned about all this stuff. If I remember correctly, this guy bought a plat. sorc on SS for $800. The irony where Ink dissed at cabelas + demonchild but did something just as bad lol.
Sinister warrior helmet, Ajunta pall tunic, malgus reborn gauntlets, dark legionnaire boots, distinguished warrior belt, and wasteland crusader greaves. Covert wrist energy armor. I think underworld boss dye and black/black dye looks best with this, however the clipping is horrible on the combo and the belt is eh.
I am sorry for your loss, hopefully bioware does a better job at cleaning up garbage in the future. Instead of removing forum threads showing what the problem is, and why its an issue and not doing anything.
Never understood the gratification one gets from cheating or exploiting or stealing nice things as opposed to actually earning them. It just feels so much better to earn stuff legitimately. That being said, I also think it isn't a very good look being bothered so much by stuff like this that one would make a video about it. It's just a game at the end of the day and things being done on both ends just look pathetic. No offense intended, I'm glad you got it out of your system but I hope everybody grows from this.
@@Justanntt97 There's a difference between taking advantage of free content and exploiting. To answer your question though: honest people don't steal or exploit. And there is also principle. Like in the movie Troy Achilles allows Hector to regain his bearings after tripping over a stone and tells him he won't let a stone be responsible for his glory (he'd rather let his skill be his glory). Exploiters and cheaters are the kind of people whose glory comes from the stone and not their own skill. Not something to be proud of, really. We can also use real life examples as well. If you had two mma guys fighting and one dude is using eye pokes to get a win, wouldn't you think that's cheap? His glory/win/title comes from the stone (eye pokes) and not from his skill. Not something to be very proud of, either.
keep exposing them and sooner rather then later bio will realise this is not good for business ...and if they dont do anything about it then keep pressing it and making more videos until either they shut them down or get more exposed , in soooo many ways its not fair that people work hard and u have douche bags getting away with it ...i applaud you guy because this is not right !
I mean really why does this matter? If everyone already knows they're bought why make a video about it? Just looks like some kind of public smear effort
Most regulars of Star Forge solo ranked are aware, however most players do not participate in that. Those are the players I am aiming on informing with this video. Some players have pm'd me in game thanking me for making it. I was hoping that it would help possibly get the players revoked of their items but bioware decided to turn a blind eye and even take down a forum thread linking this video. TLDR: I just don't like cheating.
@@SchoiPvP yeah okay they bought the accounts but are they even as good as a platinum player? If not then its just another account with cosmetics for them they don't even have the same skill
@@joeym3147 It defeats the purpose, and incentive of playing legitimately if the best rankings can be purchased. Also those players in specific like to brag about their rankings, the ones they bought. I've heard many times from players in game the reason they never play ranked is due to all of the cheating.
@@SchoiPvP yeah but the only way they buy the accounts is the previous owner sells. Its not like its a rampant issue is it? People sell accounts all the time and true the guys are crap for bragging about what they didn't actually do. This is cheating though? Its just a rank its not actually an advantage is it? Whats the cheating im genuinely confused. This seems more scummy since they brag about what's not theirs but not cheating. It wouldn't be scummy if they didn't brag and were honest about buying for cosmetics
@@joeym3147 There is a wintrading community that is relatively common, and these guys are a part of that too. Someone sent me a screenshot where they say they have fake new flairs ready to go in case these accounts get banned. You don't have to agree with fairness. But when I see Alpha Marauder (alpha buyer) flag noobs in a huttball match 10+ times these guys really aint all that great. Edit: in addition, it turns others away from playing ranked the more wintrading there is.
