I was 11 years old when this song came out. Me and my cousin singing it at the top of our lungs....YOU GOTTA GO DOWNTOWN!!! I was around 22 years old when I first heard this song. OMG, I used to BLAST this song when I rolled up to my place of work at the time. I thought people turned their heads and stared at me because they, too, thought it was a catchy song lol. Clearly I was oblivious to what this song was about.
