This was a 4 Day Side by Side trip with two machines. A Kawasaki Teryx4 and a Hisun 700 UTV.
We do some overlanding and sleep at a different random camp every night.
On the first night we hear a pretty scary sound in the bush… not a sound you want to hear…

@bigchief-wv7jl thanks! We had bear spray and chainsaws etc. Last summer ,two very experienced back packers and their dog were killed by a grizzly bear in Banff NP. They had bear spray as well but it wasn’t enough. When it’s my time to go it’s my time to go but I am usually very bear smart but get complacent the odd time. Thanks for watching.

@@Indeewoods thats great. always have protection. i had a grizzly expenence this last november while hunting. i was walking the the woods with my 30-06 looking for a cranker whitetail. i ened up walking up on a grizzlys fresh kill!!!!( it was still somewhat alive and half buried) i didnt notice the bear at first... till he started to grunt and huff !!!! i was lucky to not get charged!!! that grizzly would have 100% killed me. i slowly backed away to a safe spot and got back to the truck and left!!! i returned to the location a few hours later and the half burried deer was gone with a insane blood trail!!! it was fucking bone chiling. i threw up my supper the next day> i can say that was death looking right at me!!!im from alberta too btw

I live by the BC AB boarder and we have those sasquatches or we did in 2019 I have photos of footprints and I have that well documented when they were around in this area They ARE real. The probability of you hearing one is VERY high especially if it's not a high traffic area. I've done a lot of research on them after having those things around our house so I'm well aware of the sounds it was probably watching you and it or they were definitely aware of your presence. We've also heard sounds when we lived on Vancouver island a big whoop nothing like what you described but they do make different kinds of noise so I'm not putting it past. If your by the nordegg area there's lots of activity around there. research is key. Historically they existed as Gigantopithecus and there's no reason they cant still walk the earth today with how smart these creatures are.

@WikkyPlays this was a grizzly bear as far as I know because it made the exact same sound as the sound I played on the video but I did hear about Nordegg (I’m about 2hrs away) and also if you read David Thompson history from the winter of 1810/11 he talks about seeing huge foot prints in the snow that were not from as he said “a grizzled bear” ala grizzly bear. So there very well could be something out there but with so many game cameras out there these days you’d think someone would have a good clear video which is not the case. Fun to think about though and honestly i’m not sure which one I’d rather run into while sleeping out on a cut armed with only a 22 and a 38cc chainsaw 🤣🤣

@Jerry-jy7jm ya this was technically the second time I heard that. The first time I got stranded at a place called Ruby Falls and had to walk 56km’s and 15hrs straight before I got picked up. On my way out I heard that same wierd noise and wasn’t sure if it was a bear or a moose so I threw what foot I had out on the trail and high tailed outta there. Lol Where abouts are you from?
