Homesteaders were a tough bunch of people... damn imagine living in that cabin in the dead of winter with who knows how many feet of snow around you. And I love how you see the rolled Yammy, and say screw it I'm going up 😄
Awesome video, thanks. I have the same System 3 rims (non beadlocks) and XC450 tires on my Maverick and, was wondering how often does the beadlocks leak air when it gets squeezed and dirt gets into it ?... is that an unsual situation or did you see that before?... thanks
@stevenmclelan5373 I switched to the XC450 because I needed something solid and put an end to having flat tires. They might be a tad heavier but, bulletproof. They shine on rocky trail, great traction on loose dirt and super smooth on hardpack. They won't steal much power, that mostly depends on total diameter and clutch setup. Those tires are pretty true to size.
I am thinking stock size 30x10x14 and stsying stock clutching. I run a fair bit of hard pack and a bit of rock here on the East coast. The 10ply reducing flats is what peaked my interest in the XC450.
