Northumberland looks alot like the Scottish N500. Hope you sort your bed situation. I have to agree with Andy because the gate mechanisms looks really interesting . We would have turned around before you left the car park, knackered just watching xx
Yet another epic production from Andy Spielberg.. I loved the Tom Robinson Band number....but sadly the twice brewed cassette toilet reference, kept repeating on me. I'm very excited today as my Rachel Reilly virtual washing line screen saver arrived in my email. I wonder what Rachel is hanging out today. Sorry children. I think I had better go for a brisk walk now.
I love Northumberland! We were fortunate to see the Sycamore Gap about a month before the vandalism! Herding Hill farm is a great site to stay on, try there next time. They have a sauna on site!!!
Oh, forgot to say, massive congratulations on 10k, awesome achievement 🙌 Well done to you both and very well deserved - all the very best! David & Rachel 👍
10k brilliant!! Congratulations to you both on your very funny, interesting videos, keep them coming. We both always have a good laugh. Enjoy your weekend both. Dawn & Jay xx 🥰🐶🏴🏴
Some cracking countryside and weather you have had, quite a long wall that eh! Lovely area. What a nightmare with the bed! Looks a nice campsite. All the best, David & Rachel 👍
Great vlog as usual. Poor Clair looked hot and bothered, it’s because the weather is so changeable. Hope you get your bed sorted out for your next adventure so at least you can relaxed after your long walks. It’s fine when you can sit outside, but hellish if you have to be inside. Happy travels until next time. Jan and Willie. 👍
Fabulous episode Andy and Claire, great footage, I must say I felt your pain climbing the Adrian’s Wall bank steps only to find more 😮 the area just looked amazing. Love the banter between you both, always makes be laugh. Hope you get/got the electrics working again. Have a fab travel guys and keep em coming🍺🍺🦴🦴
Great video and we never realised that the wall s so high in parts. The tree is so sad - I remember Those Happy Days looking at the tree before it was butchered . Love the look of the visitor centre and the camp site! ! 😎😍👬
@@Stchristopherofatlantis all fine thanks - off to France a week Sunday so very excited! No we have not even seen the wall but it's on our list but a long way from South Wales. 😀
Great video as usual and you are in our favourite part of the world. That campsite was the first place we stopped in our current motorhome and we have been back several times. Lovely walks from the site. Hope you fitted in a visit to Vindolanda while you were so close
@@Stchristopherofatlantis We left Molly in the van while we visited Vindolanda but it looks like you had hot weather rather than the chilly winds we endured. We are packing up the van for our annual visit (11th year now) to the Burton Agnes Jazz and Blues festival near Bridlington this weekend. It is a fantastic event (and very dog friendly!). You camp in the grounds of the stately home, hear amazing music, enjoy the estate and gardens, drink far too much great local beer etc. Highlight of the weekend is the saturday night session in the beer tent with the amazing Alligators. It is the most chilled festival you can imagine, tickets still available. See you there sometime
Hi did you get the bed fixed? If not go to RU-vid watch the instructional video for 2018- Benimar Mileo 202 After he shows you the roof window mechanism he will come to a round black plastic section with a groove in the centre this is where you place the self winding tool to lift the bed up. I hope this helps you both. All the best Edith.
Hi Andy and Claire, it could be that there is a separate fuse for the table which is not with your other fuse box, we had a similar problem with our electric bed and found out the embarrassing way after paying £50 for someone to come and check it out for us🤷🏼♀️🤦♀️xxx
Hi Great Video, Must visit places while you are in Northumberland are Alnwick Castle & Gardens, Bamburgh Castle and beaches also Holy Island Lindisfarne, down the coast Alnmouth & Amble Enjoy your time in Northumberland we are camping up there again in August we love the area 😎👍
We so enjoyed this, Ed said "oh is that it ?" Praise indeed. Beautiful part of the world, Ed's family hailed from Alnwick, family being part of the Border Reivers. Sorry about your electrical problems, hope it's sorted. ❤
@@Stchristopherofatlantis All good ta. Glad you had a great week despite electrical issues. If we didn't live here, it would probably be there. Hadrian's Wall is stunning ! Hugs for Pablo & Dora. X
Hi. Thankyou!! We haven’t done a VanTalk for some time, basically time constraints with work so been focusing on 1 main video. We are thinking of what to do to replace it. Watch this space 👍👌 Have a great weekend
Great video, such beautiful countryside. We stayed on exactly the same pitch as you last year when we visited Hadrians Wall Campsite, lovely little place. We did a mammoth circular walk from the site up to Hadrians Wall & back down to the Sill which we by passed for the pub next door for a well earned 🍺 or two & some food before trekking down lanes & across fields before eventually getting back to the site completely knackered 🥵
Hi. Pitch buddies!!! They were so friendly and the site was quiet it was ace. We saw the walk and the pub you are talking about. We love the area and the views were marvellous 🌳 did you see the tree?
@@Stchristopherofatlantis we didn’t see the tree sadly as we’d walked miles before we got to the road that you walked up & decided that we’d comeback & visit the area again this year! Gutted that we won’t get that opportunity now & in hindsight we should have crossed the road & carried on the walk but had already trekked up & down the path & needed liquid refreshments 🤣😥
Hi you two , sycamore gap ( even bigger gap now 🤬thanks to those idiots) is only about 20 miles away from us , beautiful countryside isn’t it and the Northumberland coast ? Hope you’ve got your bed sorted out 😮Many congratulations on the 10k subscribers, well deserved 😊
Hi. You are lucky to live somewhere so beautiful 🌳❤️ The beaches were incredible, more in them next week! Thanks for watching and supporting us all that time. We are truly appreciative Have a great Friday 😎❤️ xx
Yes we are lucky to live so close to all that but unfortunately with work and doggie and human health problems don’t get to appreciate it enough , but when we do it’s great 😊 My pleasure in supporting your channel you make me laugh out loud at your great humour and always do some great vlogs , great mix of laughter, nice places, music and sometimes serious too , getting really good at filming and editing 🌟🤣All the best x
We were at Hadrian Walls Campsite 3 weeks ago. Really enjoyed it there. But you had better weather 😂. It picked up in Pickering, thanks to you... What do we have to do to get a sticker from you? We watch all your vlogs and really enjoy them a lot. Keep them coming. Paul & Beate from Germany
Hi Paul and Beate, What a shame we were there at different times would have been awesome to say Hi. We loved it!! 🚐🌳 Thanks for watching 👍 We nipped into Germany last year on the way round Switzerland. We loved it and will be going back!!
Hellooooo to you, Wonderful vlog of a stunning area, that looked like some walk 🥵. Still can't understand why anyone would have cut down the tree 😕. That was a good looking bacon sarny 😋. Lets you get the table/bed sorted. Looking forward to the next vlog of the trip. We are watching you from a slightly damp Barnard Castle 🏰. Take care and stay safe, enjoy. Paul and Joanne 👍 ❤️
Just whilst you're in the area and maybe wondering About the language. Those little brown birds on the table with your drone are called Spuggies. Back to the days of biker grove if you're old enough to remember back to Ant and Decs first claim to fame 😂😂
Another great video guys. My gosh , that yomp to sycamore gap was emense! Not sure I'd tacke it with my wonky legs thats for sure. So sad what those mindless thugs did to that tree. Hopefully the punishment will reflect the value and national heritage of the tree. I hope you get the van fixed soon. Much respect- Kenny
I do hope the clown who chopped the tree gets some………great music - great weather again and unlike Andy recalled some childhood memories. Not tempted to drag our caravan up there however - bit to oversize for the pokey roads up there but we’ll be up around sea houses later in year for some astrometric viewing weather permitting (dark skies)
By 'eck Claire, tha's got some strong legs for them steps up t'hill t' t'wall ( Hadrian's wall, that is). Nivver bin up that part o' countryside but lewks fabulous.. Good on ya both for showin' it to us.lot. Andy get that table fixed or thi back'll nivver be same agean lad. Still that's wot ya get with these new-fangled electrickeryal things. Wotivver happeneded t' fold-darn wooden ones, eh ?
Now then! Yorkshire girls are tough!! If you ever get chance you should go, it’s worth a visit 🌳 Thanks so much for watching 👍 Have a great rest of the week
Living full time for a few weeks now so I'm a pro! So if you need any hints or tips then let me know 🤣🤣I know you give dog shout outs but could you give a shout out to my Auntie Maureen Hope who has binged watched all your videos. She is 70 on 5th August so that would make her day. Thanks, Graeme.
Hello Graeme, How are you? I will shout out Auntie Maureen and we can surprise her. We make videos weeks in advance so it will be a few weeks yet… but I will include her! ❤️ love to read she’s watched our videos ❤️
Do you think, when Adrian ( or Hadrian as the Italians pronounce it) was kicking back on his Lewis's futon ( or Louis Vuitton as the French call them) wearing his Gucci tank top. In his newly conquered Field of dreams, he turned to one of his slaves and said lets take back control, and stop the goats coming. And do you think one of his legionnaires cautioned against it, saying. If you build it they will come. But then a scruffy half sozzled used donkey seller called bellendius faragius convinced him to build his wall. Only for the next 1900 years people still came to visit. Most walk but some come on their goats but thats a story for another time
Mindless and moronic comes to mind for felling that tree! It look a fantastic area with magnificent views & scenery. Also the camping site looked really nice & secluded. We all know why the Roman's built straight roads don't we? You will never guess that we had issues with our electric drop-down bed too. Our table is manual so no issues there but about 9.30 pm we decided to drop the bed & make it up & it was completely dead & wouldn't move? So for the 3 Nights we slept on the make up lower bed using the seat cushions. When we got home from Warcombe farm site & parked on the drive the bed worked?😂😂😂 Needless to say its booked in with a local supplying dealership to find the fault.
