Downloaded waterfall and there are line drawings which could be added to website. Grandad collar is used here in UK and I thought it was because this is the collar style on old man’s pyjamas. Loving these reviews.

This is a gorgeous collection and I just love it. One thing that the big pattern companies do is often use hideous fabrics. I love that this designer is using stunning, inspired and quality fabrics. These clothes are very upscale and feminine without being fussy . Love that.

Fun video. I've never heard of them before so nice to see your review. BTW, the term "Grandad collar" seems to used a lot in the UK.

Love the waterfall too! And yes, every pattern website should have line drawings 😊

Love, love, love this asthetic. All these clothes form a cohesive collection and I would like to be the lady who has all these outfits in her closet. They read as feminine, comfortable, and upscale to me. I'm a total sucker for a blousy sleeve gathered into a real button cuff, but in a pinch I'll go for elastic cuffs as long as the sleeve is freakin huge!!! Busty ladies need bust darts for shaping even in oversized garments, so Imma personally steer clear of these tops, but for other body types these will look nice. That waterfall dress is beyond adorable. I'd make it with a wide sash belt & tie it in a bow in back for extra cuteness. Thanks for introducing us to all these indie patter co's Lindsey! PS I'm looking forward to the day you cover the french pattern company called DP Studio.

That Olivia shirt is exactly what I've been shopping for; a camp collared shirt that is otherwise quite simple! And in a size range that will fit me.

Hi again, I can't say that Sycamore Road appeals to my personal aesthetic but they are very nice. The designs are thoughtful and the photographs are lovely. If you go back and look at the 4th photo of the Paula Knot top you actually get a great close up of the top portion of the Eva wide leg trousers and they are fitting the model like a dream (assuming that they are not being clipped at the front to give such a great back view). Looking at that side view of the Vera cardigan, I would say that the model needs a FBA as you have the folds at the underarm and you can see between the buttons which says that the garment is pulling. I also think that model could do with a sway back adjustment. I agree with you, we need the technical drawings, personally, I would happily forego the model photos to have the technical drawings. The trouble with model photos is that often the garment is made and you select the model based on the measurements provided by the agency. Then, when the model turns up they do not have those measurements so the garment needs some quick fix ups(normally bull dog clips attached to the garment in places you can't see in the photos). With things like crotch depth then that sort of measurement is not provided, and, unless you sew you are unlikely to have any idea what that measurement is - OMG, could you imagine the horrendous misunderstandings that could lead to! Once again, this is a lovely collection. Not for me but clearly well thought out. Yes, Granddad collar is definitely a term. I had only heard of it as a granddad collar before I went to fashion school.

I so enjoy your reviews and being introduced to new pattern companies. This one is a no for me. As an older busty plus-sized woman, I want to see these on other body types. Some patterns appeared to have a different block for plus sizes with a clearly stated cup size, but some didn’t. And no line drawings! There are just too many better options for me in the indie world. I continue to put up with what some people call The Big 1 because they are so cheap at Joann’s and thrift shops. And no printing.

Grandad collar is mentioned by Kate at the Foldline all the time. I think it's the UK name for a stand collar.

I wonder if the waterfall would work on a larger bust? What do you guys think?

It could be cute, but for me, I'm so short waisted, I don't think the proportions will work since I'm busty
