@Roll On Forty I launch from the beaches in the sheltered corners. Just need to watch the waves and make sure it is small and manageable. You can launch at boat ramps too

I enjoy the yak sessions! Hard to tell how deep without a sounder. Probably covering 10-25m on those drifts

@bluewaterfever looks like you got yourself a good one last year! I fish a lot of shallower water using a 1/4oz jig head with 5 inch plastics. Cast ahead of the drift and letting the lure sink on a semi slack line. In NSW, they are found almost anywhere there is reef and particularly where it meets sand or gravel. Try spots no one else fishes

@@bugsyfishing thanks mate yeah that one I got was up north it was 3.5kg no monster but it was a healthy fish I'll take your advice and see what I can pull off

South of the bridge this session but definitely some good ones north of the bridge!

@@bugsyfishing Great catches. I know exactly the area, but wonder where it would be best to launch my kayak. The beach in front is probably the best option. Good reefs out that way, I used to scuba dive in that area, even from the shore!

Hey @Akos beach launch is definitely the safest option. Usually pretty easy except when there is swell
