Sydney Metro - Western Sydney Airport, Station Boxes and Tunnelling project: Tunnelling complete 

💥 Each tunnel boring machine (TMB) breakthrough on a project is monumental in its own right; however, TBM Marlene's recent breakthrough efforts at the St Marys site were extra special 😍 as it also marked the #MajorMilestone of all tunnelling now complete on the Sydney Metro - Western Sydney Airport, Station Boxes and Tunnelling project.
Over ten months, TBM Marlene excavated 443,000 tonnes of spoil as she traversed beneath major infrastructure such as the M4 Motorway and the Great Western Highway to deliver a 4.3-kilometre tunnel.
