Sydney On Film: in this video I showcase photos take in January 2023 in Sydney, Australia.
Most of the photos were shot on the Minolta TC-1 point and shoot with Adox Color Mission 200 35mm film. I also feature a few shots from the Fujifilm Natura Black f1.9 and the Lomography Oktomat.

Found your channel through Lucy Lumen, a great find I gotta say! :) I reside on the other side of the planet, but used to live in Sydney way back so this was amazing to watch. Brought back many great memories. Also, fantastic photos! Very inspirational for my own work and videos here on YT (shameless plug haha). Anyhoo, subscribed and looking forward to more videos! @@MattLovesCameras Hey Matt, thanks for taking the time! Oh I used to love living there, but back in 06-07 it wasn't too bad. At least not compared to Sweden. Yeah, haha, I'd love it if you did but there's not a whole lot there yet. A few vintage camera videos that may be worth a watch. But I'm currently putting together six more simultaneously that should be finished soon. :)

Yes it’s such a good film Gab! I have one shot left on a roll in my TC-1, the first time I’ve shot 400D on it. Might be a few weeks before I get the shots back though!

I loved your photos on the TC-1. Mine had light leaks too, but a clever young repairer in Hong Kong fixed it for a very economical price. Thanks for the recommendation on Colour Mission!

Thanks so much! Pretty sure the only place you can get it is FotoImpex in Berlin. They release batches now and then. Postage overseas makes it expensive unfortunately and they imposed a 3 roll limit for Color Mission after the initial drop 😭 ooo I just looked up the Figaro! If I win lotto I’m buying one 😂 🚗

Thanks so much Robert! Yes there is definitely a darker look to it in some photos. I took a wonderful moody portrait of my daughter but being a moody teenager she wouldn't let me use it for this video ha ha

I tried this film. Not a fan. Dynamic range is very small.

Ah that's interesting. My friend Alan in Sydney (in the group shot) also had mixed results with it. I've been using it mostly with cameras that have auto exposure. Like slide film, it's not very forgiving!
