Lived 10mins from there for 30+ years and always thought about trying above the weir - lots of ski boats up there though, have you ever fished it?

Nice one Carl, few good fish there! I got out last week and managed a couple on cicadas (flies). Unusual for them to hit the surface so early in the season.
