@@jasperlaw26 Is there any technical reason why the wires can't be extended from Kiama down to Bomaderry? It always struck me as weird that the electrification stops there. Having to have a dedicated set for the diesel shuttle operating in total isolation seems really inefficient and has got to be way more expensive in the long run than the one time cost of putting in the wires in.

@@lmlmd2714 There isn't a drive to fund it, would be quite expensive electrifying the Omega tunnels.
