I don't think I've ever seen (or noticed, at least), a Sydney train station with an actual garden like that, with a mowed lawn and carefully tended flowers and shrubs. What an asset for the locals!

Hi Phil, thanks for sharing another interesting video. Great to see the new lifts there. They make it a lot easier for the elderly and disabled, especially with all the stairs there. Anyway, take care. Rob in Melbourne Australia.

Hi Phil, we did actually see a rabbit in the garden at #7:59 I have memories of the magnificent railway gardens in the 1980's with Redfern platform 1 and Woodford in the Blue Mountains being frequent winners of the garden competition. The gardens were maintained by the station staff who often provided the funds and the hard work themselves.

Edit: I notice another viewer had posted similar earlier in the comments. My apologies. You’ll have to sneak up to Tuggerah before they pull the old station down Phil. The new station building is going up nicely. Not sure if the timeframe to pull down the old ramps and such like. It’s been a long time coming!!

At least the footbridge was extended. Also both times you have been to Killara you have seen a bunny. Last video and this video.😅
