Dragonmaids is a low tier deck with simple mechanics, syk was just using a troll deck in the beginning as well. I can't wait till they find out what the real meta decks are, and they all just quit yugioh lmao.
Bro one rengeki or card that can negects other card ability will just shut down the hero deck bcus you can't combo anymore n wht have ive seen there are many cards that can destroy the hero deck very easily, the hero deck need good hand

@@speedeee1703 Bro do u even play the game? Litteraly couple of negates in early play of hero shut them down and if they do get all thier summons u can still beat them if u have bunch of board destroying spells or cards
Dragonmaids is a deck meant to bring all the maids to the front desk to stop an unruly customer, overkill style. Three spell cards in particular make them broken with some decent traps but every effect makes the graveyard more like a waiting room. So grabbing some cards to return banishments to your hand would make it an endless cycle of maids.

There are some times you shouldn't click yes but they are few and far between. And you can easily have a terrible hand if you don't get a good starting maid like in the second battle of this video
Can confirm, I made 6 people surrender just after I made my dragonmaid deck after summoning Sheou and House at the same turn, then turning all my maids into their dragon counterparts. It's a really good shutdown deck too for archetypes that depend on effects to bring out their boss monsters
@@casmir4llistar268 i scoop if i see any dragonmaid card because its such an annoying deck, I'd rather play a 1v3 against Ishizu Tear, Yata-Lock, and IDS for the rest of my time playing yugioh than play a single 1v1 against that garbage dragonmaid deck
I love this Yugioh era they're in, also if Yvonne summoned Sheou instead of House during the second duel, I honestly think she would've won after negating Sykks card, stopping him from calling night mist, or using it against Sunrise/Dark Law
dude imagine a deck being so broken that someone who has no idea what they're doing, who doesn't read anything, and just pushes random buttons can still win with it, now imagine that same deck being the furry deck... and you lose to furry cards... yea I'm going to have nightmares for years lol.
Most likely if you have enough knowledge on the cards and like sykono knows what to do with the techniques he has to play and a lot of focus also takes in this game even if you are trying to understand the faced up cards
Just to clarify for possible newcomers. Dragonmaids aren't either meta nor really good. They can be good if you splash actual meta cards and it's "kinda" cheap since dragonmaid is a structure.
NoOooOOoo! she could've won on her first turn! After summoning nurse, she could've activated welcome, put tinkhec back in hand. Proceed to battle phase, attack with sheou, in damage step use tinkhec effect on sheou. Then negate mother grizzly effect in graveyard, which summons house to the field, attack with house, then with ernus and that's game. The only way he could've prevented her from winning is to not use mother grizzly effect at all. sucha shame, it was an easy win because that was an ideal hand for this situation. She won tho, so I guess it works out in the end. Also, dragonmaid meta? Lol, it is a modern deck so of course it performs better that old decks but c'mon, it's far from tier 1, the best thing it has is how easy and straightforward it is to pilot, almost anyone can pick the deck for the first time and pick up some wins if the opponent bricks or misplay, also, has a lot of options to go in the extra deck, but also has a decent enough main deck options if that get locked away.
Dragonmaid isn't exactly meta, but can be anti meta with Sheou. Sykkuno is saying meta but what he means is modern. Every modern deck is gonna outclass the old decks in some way or another
@@T3chnici4n Sorry I meant to say unless Sykkuno is using it. *HE thinks every other deck stronger than his is meta lol. and Modern decks is a very broad term for his part. During the duel with Toast he said that him and Leslie didn't use Synchros, Xyz, Pendulums, and Links (after he used his Stardust deck on leslie). Then said that Xyz are broken after Toast uses his Numeron deck. Every deck used in the Ludwig tourney and other streams have been very mid tier at best.
@@T3chnici4n Considering how fast current meta changes, if its rogue, I'd consider it meta enough, and many do consider Dragonmaids rogue, often mentioned with cyber and thunder dragons.
It doesn't just look powerful to new players. it IS powerful for new players. It's super easy to use and its pretty effective through low ranks. Solid intro deck.
All these years I've only watched the anime up till G5 and only now do I decided to play the card game because Yvonne is having fun with the dragonmaid deck
The amount of plays and endboards Yvonne could've set up should've been a lot better if she had actually read the effects. Then again I was a dragonmaid player most of my time playing a Yu-Gi-Oh
If we're talking current meta, not really. Certain archetypes can use it, but most people will have some kind of negate for it by the time its activation requirements are fulfilled. It can also just be run as a one off in conjunction with Ghost Ogre/Imperm if you can remove their negation and potentially just force them to pop another one or just eat a Nibby. Really just depends on whether your deck needs that kind of combo removal and can support its weaknesses to negation.
@@cryaopriman some decks run 1, rarely 2, main issue is that the best deck right now, branded despia, doesn't special summon enough to trigger it usually it's still a staple but like, not a "always include" staple like maxx C or ash
Beginner duelist should always read their cards and the opponent cards before doing anything. Dragon maid deck is only good if you read the damn cards the mental damage hurts me lol
