In the end she realized she finished it earlier than she thought she would (she had dedicated 24-48 hours to finishing it after a couple days into the game but finished it in less than 12 hours yesterday). She ended up doing more optional bosses after malenia and after completing the main bosses. Then she regretted finishing too quickly so she wants to do another run without mimic now.
What’s so dumb about this is that summons are a Literal mechanic/feature in the game. Let people play the game the game the way they want to. That’s all I have to say.

Everyone can play how they want and for most people struggling to kill bosses is a big part of the fun. But some people prefer to relax and cruise through the game with summons and thats fine.
I don’t watch Rae all that much but what I have noticed especially in gta is that she doesn’t do a good job when it comes to filtering comments she chooses to acknowledge toxic chatters and gives them a reason to keep commenting obviously she has a good community so why not acknowledge the people who are actually there to help and support
Easier said than done if you've never streamed before. And sure there's ways to moderate most of them out on Twitch but RU-vid mod tools are very few and not that effective. I blame the dickhead chatters that have agency and judgement of what they're gonna type in chat and not the streamer that's just playing a game and using in-game mechanics to complete the game.
It’s basically the same as normal life. No matter how many ppl praise you, the negative feedbacks are the ones that stick out and affects you the most even if you acknowledge the good ones
YT chat moderation is just bad. Just look at Syk's YT stream vs Twitch streams. He literally fights with his chat so much on YT and they complain too much, to the point that every stream is a struggle with people constantly just being plain rude to him at times. When he switched to twitch you can instantly see the difference in the chatters. He has more mods and they have better tools to clean the weird comments or ban people. YT is just so delayed that by the time any mod tries to delete the comment, the streamer already have seen it.
I seriously hate all the complaining in the chat. It's making it hard for Rae and others to enjoy the stream. Mimic is fine to use. If you don't like it, why not just play Elden Ring yourself instead and leave rae alone. Anyways congrats to rae who beat it ehe ^.^
She just needs better mods. Sykkuno mods are overzealous but at least they are on top of things and can keep her from getting one guyed as much (and I mean from when he was on RU-vid too)

Whoever said her run is not valid was dumb af its part of the game if you cant use it why it's in the game in the first place besides she's kinda nerf herself on her like not learning parry, not using any magic, not using even any single great rune she acquired, she's even using beginner sword quarter part of the game, despite all that she actually had a chance against all of the bosses even without a mimic. People that trashtalked her for that probably the one who play and get the mikic but ot using it despite their incompetent

I just want people to enjoy the game, and for me Rae sounded unsatisfied after beating Malenia rather than accomplished. You can also hear on the full live stream that she regretted getting the mimic since it watered her experience down. Yes she can do a rerun, but you only get to experience things like these once.
I’ve learned never listen to chat bc they purposefully want to send people to fights that they’re significantly under leveled for with not upgraded weapons and just watch people die and mald… I feel like those people have somewhat sad and pathetic lives honestly… I’d rather watch someone enjoy the game! As long as they’re there right level and not o=too over leveled, the fight will still be hard regardless. Sykk did use strats for his build and he’d played the game before using summons so he was more so just challenging himself and planning ahead but don’t force that same strat on noobs that haven’t played before or not enough… Ellums chat has him thinking that literally playing the game (outside of the main story bosses) means grinding mobs for runes which isn’t true at all, dude has terrible talismans and his physik is basically only the stuff you get in the starting area and he’s half way through the game
Dont use these weapons, mimics or magic because its op. Dont level between bosses because reasons. Dont abuse exploits because only speedrunners are allowed to. Dont google quest lines, boss strats or builds because imersion. When will this gate keepers understand that casual players are the ones who pay the bills, casual players are the reason why fromsoft is able to make this behemoth of a game...
She was getting one guy'd for the mimic summons. Those same people wanted to compare her to sykunnos run as well which made them even more toxic. It suvks that those are the comments she see's and responds to versus the thousands of other people in chat cheering her on and telling her to ignore those toxic chatters who were likely chat hoppers to begin with
For those that dont know, the reason using mimics and summons is so controversial is simply from the old souls game fans. Because they wanted to keep the difficulty of the game while also making the game possible for a wider audience, they made the game easier by giving you an option of using summons and lots of magic. That was not a feature in the older games and because of that souls tryhards try and make themselves feel better by pointing out the fact that the game is easier when you use them. Although yes the game is alot easier, for someone like rae if you wanted her to beat the game the same way kai did it would probs take her a months lol. That’s just simply not fun for her. Use it if you want your first play through then you can always do one without it doesn’t matter. Just ignore them
I made a mistake while playing to fight Malenia with sword a shield, my mimic ended up being her flask since she healed more than my mimic could damage her.
Right?! I tried using mimic with malenia just the other night and my mimic was useless (even at +10)… at least black knife Tiche somewhat helps and can last until phase 2
@@hotmessmasta I just ended up dropping mimic all together for that fight and tried to win against her on technical level. Pretty much spent the next 5 hours trying to memorize her move sets to avoid damage. In hindsight I kind of realize that my character just overall did little damage which made the combat harder than it should have. It was my first souls like game and I made tons of mistakes in the process.
I don’t get why people seem so butt hurt about the way you’re “supposed” to play this game (or any game for that matter). I think Rae and her chat (which is mostly supportive) have an issue when dealing with toxic chatters, they pay waaay too much attention to the few dumb comments which sadly always will be there, because people are dumb and it's worse when they feel entitled to type whatever they want because there is a reaction to their "takes". Just ignore them, or as Syk loves to do, roast the hell out of them so they think twice before saying something dumb.
its actually better to have a lower heart rate, especially at rest, it means your heart is not working as hard. Also the more active you are the lower your resting heart rate is.

But after hearing her reaction after beating Malenia, that's when I realized that her decision using mimic and rob was her chat's doing, and I think she would've preferred another way of playing the game. Hear me out, I think the game was meant to be played with no summons, your entire goal is to become the elden lord and if you can't 1v1 the bosses do you really deserve to hold that title? Maybe, maybe not, it really isn't all that serious, if you need the summons use them, you can not agree with it but actively complaining about it is silly. You should only be concerned about summons being used or not in YOUR playthrough.
There are literally events in the game and storylines that involve summons…. Example is Radahn. It’s literally a festival of people to kill him. You’re supposed to summon the squad
@@hotmessmasta Radahn isn't a main story boss he is optional and if you wanna use the summons for the storyline that's fine, but they are not needed to win the fight. 1v1ing him is more than feasible.

I think most streamers play Elden ring in a frustrating way bc they often just rush the main bosses and I guess you can do that if you want the game to be very hard, but if you actually try to explore an area before fighting the main story bosses in that area then the game is much easier and more enjoyable. Plus you can use summons to get used to hard bosses for new players.. I just hate the players that choose to play the game in the hardest way possible and then think everyone has to play the game that way even though certain features are in the game for a reason.
